I probably should have read some of the introductions before attempting to write one but what the hay here goes nothing!

I am a mother of one wonderful baby boy. I came to the world of CDing after my newborn baby boy had 2 separate occassions of what I considered horrible diaper rash. Looking at the pictures of the fungal diaper rashes I realize that was nothing, but it was enough to get me started on something better for my little's hiney.   I tried CDing for him as a newborn. I bought some Gro-via AIOs and 2 Gro-via shells with inserts. I wasn't sure I was going to like CDing and Costco had some Gro-via products for sale (and I love and trust Costco) so I decided to just start with Gro-via! My newborn was too small for the AI2s AND the AIO. I put them away and tried again a month later. By this time, the little had outgrown the AIOs but fit perfectly into the shells. I didn't have enough for the whole day but really enjoyed the AI2s that I was using. I toyed with the idea of doing CD full time but I was going back to work and didn't want to add more things to do.

So here I am-having taking the plunge with 12 AIOs from Grovia and 6 Grovia shells and some prefolds on their way from GMD. (fingers crossed)

I have a zillion questions and looking forward to getting some advice and learning from the parents in the CD trenches!

Welcome! Ask away - there are a ton of ladies on here with all kinds of CD and parenting experience. We are a very varied crowd, but we don't bite Wink. No question is a dumb question!
