I would like to know how to measure my DD.  It seems like several diapers/covers list waist, rise, and inseam measurements instead of sizes and i am wondering where to start/end the measurements.

For the rise of a diaper you would measure from the belly button, down through the crotch, and up the back to the same height as you started in front, and do this when your LO is not wearing a diaper.  If you are measuring for the rise of a cover, do this same measurement with a diaper on your LO.
 
For inseam I just measure a pair of pants that fit my DD.  I find that to be much easier than getting her to keep her leg straight and still.  LOL
