It came to our attention early this morning that there was malicous code inserted to our data which attempted to install a virus from another site. In order to prevent infection of our member's machines we closed down the forums immediately.

We have cleaned our data of the malicious code and have opened the forums again. Welcome back!
Hackers are continuously attempting to insert malicious code throughout the internet in order to infect your machines. This problem can occur at at any site. While we are working to make our site more secure, the hackers are working equally as hard to get around any new security features we are able to implement. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE INSTALLED ON YOUR MACHINE. It is just as important that you have a current subscription to download new antivirus updates. If you do not have such software you can download this one for free:

         AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.0

Thank you for your patience, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

if it is ok to add. When I build or service computers I usually find that looks of people don't do basic maintenance on their computers.

one place that I use and it highly recommended by us in the tech community is    the site is free of virus,spyware,malware.. a trusted source.

Tons of great security programs that are free. Also lots of useful applications that one doesn't have to go to a pc store to purchase. Some have trial periods on them and some don't.

Check it out.
