Hey all,  I just got a pair of wool soakers to try out at night for my heavy wetter.  It did not come with much for care instruction other than saying it was lanolized and ready to use.  How do you care for wool properly?  How often do you wash and how do you wash and lanolize it?  Thanks

There's a great tutorial on this website.  Lanolizing is super easy--here's the link:

I use an olive oil bar to spot clean when's there's poo.  Otherwise, just soak it in lanolin and eucalin.  Dry it in a rolled towel and let it air dry.

You only have to wash it every 2-3 weeks or so.  If it's wet with urine, just let it air dry and ready to use again.

I had to switch to wool since DD had a PUL sensitivity, but it's pretty easy to manage and now I'm really starting to love my wool.  There' something so nice about no plastic or synthetic chemicals and complete breathability.  Good luck!!!

Thanks for the quick reply.  I am hoping this will work over night paired with my hemp prefolds.

Good luck!  I had trouble with overnight too.  I usually do prefolds, but they just weren't absorbent enough.  A lot of people recommended Motherease Sandy's.  I use a doubler, Sandy's and wool and we can go 12 hours without a leak (and DD is such a super soaker!!!)
