I'm done! Big smile Yes, I'm excited about it! I just sold ALL of my covers, prefolds will be kept in case of potty learning regression (but I'll just pin them under pants) but William did so well with our very first potty boot camp yesterday morning that I'm done...and so happy! For a long time I have been thinking about being done and kinda sad about it, but now that it's finally here I can truly say it's a welcome change to our family dynamics! Even if we end up needing sposies for a little while (naps, nights, outings) I'm finally OK with that Tongue For now he's nekkie at home and doing so great! Yay William!

Right this very minute I'm washing our last diapers and covers ever Tongue

Congratulations William!!

I can understand the joy I was almost CD free for a year (between ODS only needing them at night and YDS arriving) and it was really nice. Going on outings, vacations, camping... and only needing to even think about night time options. It was pretty "freeing"

Yay congrats to you and awesome job William!

I do have to admit - since Logan PL'd months ago it's been SO nice to not have to worry about washing. I'm thankful for the break he gave me before newbie arrives :)

WTG William!  I am closer to the point of being okay w/ the thought of no diapers since having 2 in diapers is a bit more work but we are on 5 yrs of CDing.  It will be nice for you to not have diaper laundry for sure :)

Yes Amber, I've found it's much harder to CD when I have so many other things going on, like trying to home school and do it well, taking care of a dozen chickens the best I can, other laundry, cooking for 5 Paleo diet family members, etc. I finally made the decision that even if he regresses and can't PT for many more months (crossing my fingers that's not the case!), sposies will do the job and I can't feel guilty about it anymore. I want to start preparing for a winter garden soon as well, phew! So I'm very thankful for all the chemical free, adorable days we had with cloth but I'm thankful there are other options too!

Yay!  Congrats!  It is so much nicer not to have to deal w/ diapers.  I felt so free when DD PLed and I was diaper free for the first time in 7 years.  I'm hoping new guy follows the trend of his last two siblings and is an easy PLer.

Yeah I'm finally at the point where I won't be sad to see our CDs go. But we're going on 5 years of cloth diapers and I plan to keep D in cloth through the trainers stage (at least mostly since we have used some sposie trainers with Z). So I'm guessing I have another year or so, plus however much longer of nighttime trainers. I hate laundry, but I do so many loads each week that another couple loads don't make or break it for me.

that is great William is doing so well.  I have to say I am really loving the diaper freeness right now too.  I use about 1 or 2 diapers a week since I have jordan wear the same one for a couple nights.  He is staying dry at night.

i figure once the newbie gets here it will 3 more years of diapers so I am enjoying the break.
