I was looking around and saw the Imagine One Size AIO and I thought, well that seems like it would be a good idea...am I missing something if I've never tried an AIO? I was planning to go with workhorses or tts, pfs, flats, one-size pul covers and wool with the twins and we're actually planning on sposies through the newborn stage because I just don't know that I'll be able to keep up with laundry in general, not to mention diaper laundry.
Is a one size AIO all it's cracked up to be? Will the snaps and elastic go before the babies outgrow the diapers? Maybe just a few for the diaper bag...

those look good to me. are you prepared to add your own absorbency when the boys get bigger? it seems like you will need a prefold or flat to boost this diaper when it is on the higest rise setting.
i wish i could see how many layers are in the body of the diaper... |

that does look like a good deal. the price would be worth it. I would expect to get at least 2 years out of the size range.
I have a few BG AIO and Thirsties AIO--they have the sewn in soaker. i do like the idea of the snap in soaker rather than the sewn in one. Personally I would call that an AI2 since you have to snap in the soaker. But anyway. i do notice I have a little more trouble getting my AIO clean/dry than my pockets or AI2
As for fit-- I really think it will just depend on your kid. Jordan easily fit into the BG, Blueberry OS diapers until 3yr, 33lbs, 36 in (he is stocky) but FB OS he out grew by 2.5 years. He is just now in underware full time. For me I would expect the next one to PT around 3 also.

Since the extra soaker snaps in and out I would think it would wash pretty easily if you have decent water.

There's been some good talk about them on another board. A lot of moms returned them because the fit was smaller than expected and they had a long dry time.
You might be able to find one somebody tried and didn't want. ;) |
