I'm so glad to be back to cloth! I cd'ed with my first daughter, but ran into the poly + HE frontloader stink issue. When I was pregnant with my second daughter, I couldn't take the hand rinsing after washing and every second day stripping!Microfiber inserts are really absorbent, but such a pain with my washer! ARRRRRR. Now that my second daughter is turning two, and we're expecting our third little girl, I purchased some snap Flip diaper covers and 3 dozen Green Mountain prefolds.
I am SOOOOOOOO in love with them! I just guessed the size (red trimmed med), and they fit perfectly into the fully expanded cover when folded lengthwise. They also fit perfectly into the smallest setting when folded widthwise. I hand wash the covers and hang them to dry. The prefolds get rinsed out quickly and thrown in the wash every other day. There is no stink, no repelling, no stripping! I love it!
