OK, I'm back and I need some advice. DS is growing out of everything like a weed. He's almost the length of a 2year old at 15 months. I feel like my OS BGs aren't going to last long and he's pretty much out of the mediums. What happened?!!

Welcome back.  Sounds like my DS2.  There was no way I thought my BG OS would fit but he seemed to thin out after a bit and now at 3 and 34lbs, 36 in he can still wear them.  He was in 2T clothes by 18 months.

Happy Heiny OS run much bigger than BG OS.  he has plenty of growing room in them

If you want to go PF/Cover route-- Diapter rite orange edge and blueberry coveralls are very generous in sizing.  Both still fit DS2

Fitteds--brown and green edge workhorse are what we are using right now.

Probably NAK-- so please excuse the typos.

Hey Stephanie! We have missed you, welcome back.

What kind of diapers are you looking for? The new Swaddlebees Capri has a very tall rise if you like padfolding or trifolding.

I've missed you guys too!

I don't know what I want. I think I'm at that stage of being sick of diapering kids. lol. I want self cleaning and changing diapers!LOL I really like my elementals, but hate the dry time.  I've been considering pad folding, but I like the trimness of snappi-ing, and then again I'm lazy.  I do know that if it looks like a pocket, walks like a pocket or quacks like a pocket I don't want it!LOL

LOL @ The pockets! Well I found that padfolding small flats in a cover for DS to be super trim. Maybe try that? Even with an added doubler it wasn't bulky at all - still fit under regular pants just easy peasy! A small flat padfolded fit perfect in a flip cover.

welcome back!   i totally agree with the idea of a flat padfolded in a flip cover. i have two flats and that is what i use them for.

Welcome back!  Pad folding in a cover sounds like a good option.

Do you have prefolds already? Trifolding in a Thirsties Duo or Capri is my favorite, but maybe you're looking for an AIO with faster dry time? Swaddlebees are awesome but the OS prorbaly wouldn't be a great fit if he's outgrowing BGs. I've been eyeing Bamboo Baby AIOs and they're coming out with a larger size from 25-45 pounds! Love a 2 size system :)

We like pad folding also. Mostly pfs until lately with some homemade flats.  I used to fold them up and put them in covers and it was like a AIO as far as putting it on, but with not quite as much prep/folding time as a pocket.

I have at least 12 large size PFs (they might be to big, I used them on DD before she was PLed when she was 2).

I have at least 2 dozen large GMD flats and a couple of small GMd flats.

I went to the local CD store, and checked out some stuff in person today. The BG freetime looks pretty niffty, but I really hate MF. They should design the elemental the same way and I could be perfectly happy.

Does anyone have a picture of the Capri on a babe older than a year?  Maybe I just need to find the flats love again.

He is massive now. A short and stout 24lbs now. He is almost 15 months and just starting to walk a little even though crawling is still his preferred method of transportation. We figured out a food allergy and he has taken off since then.

Capris are really nice, I think you'd like them.

Aiden just turned 15 months, is 22.5 lbs and still crawling, but he did just start walking a little too.

I'm thinking I  might get a couple Capris, and a few more BG elementals.

I know lots of moms rip the stitching/seam out of the front of the elemental's soaker to get faster drying time. That's my plan for the newbie. I sold all our bottombumper aios and am going w/ BGEs this time so I don't have to deal w/ multiple sizes. Fitteds are my prefrence but I like aios and padfolding in covers for using under regular pants.

Thats a GENIUS idea bree! I think I might give that a try.  I really need to get rid of my bottom bumpers, they are just to small.

With a L DiaperRite or M GMD padfolded flat. SIze 2 cover. He is on the middle row of snaps now. I think this is shown on the smallest setting. He already outgrew that setting.
