Great Cloth Diaper Change 2012

Is anyone going to a Great Cloth Diaper change event? If so where?

I was thinking about going. I actually have that weekend off. Jackson's down to nap and night diapers but oh well. I was wondering if any of the Iowa mamas were going.

A friend and I were going to go, but I wrote down the date wrong so it is the same date as DD's birthday party. My friend is still going. It would be so fun, lots of freebies too

I might go to one in Louisville, but the thought of trying to change my little squirmer in front of a bunch of people kind of terrifies me! Do you actually have to change their diaper? I can just see her doing her flip over and try to crawl away thing, or the shriek like you're being tortured because mommy won't let you flip over routine.   

We missed last year, but we're planning to go this year.

Oh that would be fun. I think they moved the location from Newton to Des Moines. I'll have to double check. The Stork Warehouse is here in town, I'll check w/ Amanda.

Did you ladies have fun at the GCDC?   The one I went to didn't have enough people (just shy of 25) so unfortunately it won't help with the numbers.  :(    It was fun though!

I had heard this, and also something about only the parent and the participating baby being allowed in the changing area. But, when we got to ours, that was not the case. But it was in a dojo, and not terribly crowded.
I am so sorry that you missed out on the fun over a stupid technicality.

Where in VA? I am going to be babysitting in Hampton, VA Beach the last two weeks of May...if that is by a great coincidence where you are from, you will totally need to school me on what to do with a small horde of children! I will have my Stella, a friend who is tagging along with me with two small children, and then my sisters five!
