So I have been sewing dresses and things for DD like crazy and ODS asked me "what about me?" so he picked some fabric and I made him shorts

Why I never made shorts, I don't knowConfused After I cut them out I had each pair sewn together in about 20 min. So fast and easy!!

I am also going to make the boys matching shorts and shirts for Easter. Better get more thread, I am all out...

Those are great! I've never thought of sewing shorts for boys either!

Those are cute. They look super easy to sew. Did you use a pattern or go off from other shorts he already owned?

I tried to make them off a pair that they already owned and they ended up being really tiny but not tiny enough for YDS, they had no width in the hips/bottom but were really long They became doll shorts for DD

I got this pattern

I was going to use Katrina's Fleece Shorties pattern but since these are woven and not knit I did not know how that would work (since they would not stretch). That is why I got a pattern.
