The diaper works fine, but the velcro tabs are really, really annoying in the wash. They always come out tangled and attached to everything else, much more than any other diaper we have.

I have to quote ""September"" for most of my review because my experience is similkar!

""I ordered this diaper in the Cow Hide print with the Velcro closure.""

""The reason I gave it 4 is because the snaps kept popping open as I was trying to diaper my baby.""

I'd also have to complain about the velcro not sticking on the laundry tabs well and coming out of the washer stuck to other diapers. But the inserts dry quickly and we haven't had any leaks since the beginning, when my sons legs may still have been too skinny for the best fit.

""As far as quality and materials go the outer, waterproof material is thin, the inside is soft, and the inserts are thick and very, very absorbent. I also really like the colors and prints available. ""

I bought them because I couldn't resist the cow print!

I ordered this diaper in the Cow Hide print with the Velcro closure to use for both my 4.5 month old and 2 year old while he potty trains.

The reason I gave it 4 is because the snaps kept popping open as I was trying to diaper my baby. I thought it may have been because I had the setting too small but was unable to find any weight/snap setting instructions on the site. I contacted the company via their website comment form days ago and have not heard back. I ended up moving the snap setting to the next size bigger and have no experienced anymore snaps popping while diapering.

Other than the issue with the snaps I love this diaper for both of my children! It fits them both well (at 15lbs and 24lbs) in the waist and thighs. We haven't had any poop or pee leaks (and my son is a heavy wetter).

As far as quality and materials go the outer, waterproof material is thin, the inside is soft, and the inserts are thick and very, very absorbent. I also really like the colors and prints available.

The positive thing about these diapers is that they are super soft, fasten very securely on baby (much better than BG - best velcro I've seen), absorb well without being too bulky, are big enough to likely fit through potty training, and have great colors.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of things Dad and I dislike:
- the velcro always comes undone in the wash and gets caught on everything;
- when my baby is between sizes they fit terribly causing either leaks in the legs or leaving a big red line across her back (this can be fixed by pulling the fleece up in back so it sticks out, but is too much extra work in my opinion - especially for daycare workers);
- not the easiest to stuff since we have to fold the liner in (no snap to keep it folded) and the PUL lining is kind of rubbery on the inside;
- baby was between 10-12 lbs before she initially fit into them.

I like these diapers but cannot give them a 5. They are very trim (something I am looking for) and so soft! (told my husband if I ever need diapers I want something this soft up against my heiny ;) I have twins and they work great for my son but they leak (everytime) on my daughter. Also the the insert sticks out the back. They are the diaper I use the most for my son. I am hoping that they will work for my daughter when she is a little bigger.

They fit well (although there are much trimmer fitting options out there), come in a lot of color options, and are easy to stuff. I do not like the velcro or the laundry tabs. They get tangeled with and snag everything I wash them with. The sized snaps come undone when I'm diapering my LOs (they're not squirmy and I'm not yanking hard on the diaper, the snaps just come undone and I constantly have to redo them). Some say that the patterns wick and I have only experienced this if I left my cow print on through a long nap. I do use these diapers a lot b/c my stash is not huge and there are a lot of diapers I like a lot less, but these are not my fav by far. I would probably give them a 3.5 if I could.

I wanted to like these but just found them to be leaky. I tried to work things out for about 10 days before giving up. When my 2 year old DD would wet, the pocket liner would bunch in the middle and then the liquid would seep through to the insides of her legs. I had to change her pants several times a day.
The fit was fine, the velcro sturdy, the colors cute...but she couldn't stay dry in them for more than an hour or so.

Absolutely love them! Fit nicely, both on my 2year old and my 8 month old. Super cute colours and patterns. I have the Velcro ones, would like to try the snap ones. I like that there are three size adjustments in the rise.
I really wish I'd of bought more of them!
Super absorbent, easy to stuff, easy cleaning! Love them!

I have been using these diapers for 3 months now. They are the first diapers I reach for at changing time. They are a workhorse. Look cute, great color selection, and never a leak, even overnight. I really love how sturdy they are, strong fabric and strong seams, but super soft against my daughter's skin.

They are easy to clean, I have no stink issues or staining problems. If the inserts get stained, I simply sun them out for about an hour and they are good as new. But, do not bother using the laundry tabs, they are useless. Simply fold the tabs and twist like others have mentioned.

Overnight I simply use both inserts and set the rise one size higher than I normally would. We have had no leaks doing it this way.

My daughter is a slim and tiny baby (only 15 pounds at 9 months) and these fit her just fine. Nice and trim for a pocket and super cute.

This diaper is not design for slim or average babies. This diaper would fit better for a chubby baby.
The elastic in the back is to tight. Has not a nice piece of fabric so you'll get nasty red marks. And the most important of all:
BEWARE!!!! Since this diaper has not an extra pocket in the back of the diaper the poop came out of the diaper. And please note: was not a big poop. Do not want to imagine how bad that can be! I'd say: just get one for the picture.(cow)
Good: nice print, very soft, hold up to 10 hours, no leaks.
Good Luck!
Me? I'd not get any more of this brand.

This is not one of my favorite diapers. The leg holes seemed to be too big for my son. So I have it on the next to last setting and it seems to be fit but it's not reliable. Sometimes the rise snaps come undone when I'm trying to put the diaper on my squirmy 1yr old.

Also the extra fleece sticks out the top and I'm worried that the pee will leak out.

And the insert didn't fill the entire width of the diaper, so I have to use the doubler just to make sure the insert doesn't shift which makes for a very thick diaper.

I don't hate this diaper but like I said this is not my favorite. It is usually the last in my pile.

After trying Happy Heinys in a sampler pack, I purchased an additional 6-pack. I thought I was going to really love this diaper. I do like it, but it's not my favorite. Over the 4 months I've had them, I have sold 5, leaving 2 in my stash.

They fit my ""average"" guy really well, though I can't see them fitting small or thin babies. I love the 4 rise settings, and the colors are great! I also really like the wider aplix tabs that have a nice crossover for lots of adjustment. The fleece lining is a bit thinner than my other OS pockets, but it has held up well and keeps DS dry. I haven't had any problems with the laundry tabs. The inserts have been more than enough absorbency for my guy during the day. I originally was able to use them overnight, as well, but they have since stopped working so well for that. They do have a nice big pocket for stuffing though. The crotch seems a smidge wider than my other pockets. This can be both a pro and a con, but generally, I haven't found this to be a problem.

Even though I only have 2 of my original 7, I am still giving this diaper a 4. I think it is really well made and quite versatile in terms of fit. There are just other pockets that I loved more. Still, I would recommend that anyone try this diaper!

I purchased these brand new but was unable to really use them until my son was much older. The leg holes are meant for babies with chunkier thighs. I did not care for the velcro being so thick. Also, I had a hard time with the laundry tabs. The HH's I had ruined 2 other diapers before I saw you should attach the tabs to each other, not the laundry tabs.

The function is great once they fit. I rarely had a leak. I like the two inserts, they aren't super absorbent but my son isn't a heavy wetter.

I would probably like the snaps version much better than the velcro. I would have given it a 4 if not for the velcro.

I bought 12 hh's last summer in anticipation for our new little boy who was arriving at the end of december. I heard lots of great things about these diapers and I was new to the whole CD'ing thing so I thought I would give them a try. I didnt get to use them until he was just over 2 months old as he has small legs and they just didnt fit. I used them with 12 other used hh that I had bought. I used them for about 2 weeks. I find that they leak horribly, but I read that it could be that its because he has really small legs. I sold my 12 used hh's and bought 12 BG's instead. I have been using the 12 BG's only and have 12 more on the way. I still have the 12 new hh's and I am hoping that they will fit him better when he gets bigger. I love the colours, especially the cow print..i bought 3 of those! I am optimistic that these will work for him, we just have to give it time.

I also found a defect in one of the diapers (the fleece was attached underneath one of the snaps so that the insert couldnt be pushed all the way in) I contacted Laura at MTCD and she contacted HH and she was able to send me a new dipe at no charge. I am happy with the customer service that I recieved

I like these diapers, but had a problem with a snap on a diaper. It fell off on the first use! When this happens Happy Heinys will repair it but you have to pay for shipping to their company according to the owner, Linda. Luckily when I phoned the company I spoke with Heather and she was great - excellent customer service from Heather.

About the diapers themselves, I find these work so well for nighttime, I have a hemp insert under a microfibre insert. Never had a leak with these (I had leaks with Fuzzi Bunz every time). They wash well, easy to wash the snaps version. Although, the fleece really looks worn after a few washes. Still functions, just doesn't feel nearly as soft as when brand new.

I have two children in diapers. These fit my two year old very well, with room to expand to the largest setting later. For my six month old, however, I cannot get a good fit with the snaps version. I think when a child is in between snap settings the fit is compromised. You either have to have it too tight (and bunched up at the top) or too loose. Also, the crossover tabs are good in theory, but my daughter would need the snap setting on the crossover tabs that is capped off - my only way around this is to leave the first two snaps on the tab unsnapped.

With pocket diapers I have found that you need to discover the brand that fits your child the best to be satisfied with the diapers performance.

Happy Heinys one-size has lasted my daughter the entire time she's been in diapers. This diaper has so much room, even for her puffy thighs. I love everything about this diaper:
1) It works well day and night- I stuff it with a couple hemp stuffins or a few Hemp Babies to go through the night.
2) It allows for her chubby thighs
3) The velcro still holds strong
4) The velcro tabs work well
5) It wash up like a dream
6) Easy to stuff
7) Doesn't leak
8) And has stood the test of time

We have a Happy heinys onesize diaper with snaps that we use overnight with our 37 lb 3 year old. We did switch the inserts to our own favorites, but we love the diaper! The snaps work well, it has never leaked, and it holds her 12+ hours overnight easily. (We use a SuperDo insert with a Just-Hemp insert together.)

The fleece inside has stayed soft and hasn't pilled hardly at all. It fits our daughter well (tall & skinny) and doesn't leave gaps at the legs. No red marks either.

At 37 lbs, our daughter is technically at the top of the weight range, however, the fit is so nice that she'll be able to wear these until 40 lbs pretty easily. She has plenty of growing space.

The one-size feature is a nice idea, but it doesn't work in practice. Either it's too tight around the waist or there's a gap; and in either case will still leak. Our son's clothes are regularly soaked (both tops and bottoms)--and it's not because the inserts are overfull.

Also, these diapers plain stink. The inserts (I assume) begin to emit an awful odor after regular use which does not come out upon washing. Although they may smell fine immediately after being laundered, they become foul with the first bit of wetness. (I've read that bleach remedies this, but haven't tried it yet.)

Finally, there's virtually no product support from Happy Heiny's. They provide only the most basic usage and laundering instructions. If you want to know anything else, you either have to undergo a tiring process of trial and error or you must spend hours scouring the Internet in the hope that some other parent has already had a similar problem and has been kind enough to share their solution.

Surely there's a better diaper out there!

I loved dealing with Laura form More Than Cloth Diapers. She answered all my questions and had great ideas about how to stop these diapers from wicking. Which is my problem with these diapers. I literally can count on one hand the times these diapers have NOT wicked. They were horrible. The insert wouldn't even be wet and they would leak. I stripped them several times. I used the exact detergent to the exact amount they recommened and they still leaked.

I used many different inserts and combinations of inserts. (bamboo, hemp, microfiber, etc.)

I would have given them a 3 because I really liked the snaps. (I bought the snap version instead of the velco.) However, I contacted Linda from Happy Heiny's and wanted her advice because she is the manufacturer. She told me basically the same stuff that Laura did. I was hoping she would do something for me as these diapers have leaked since I bought them and I was following all their instructions. (I know that no one covers leaks, but they drove me insane.)

At first she returned all my inquires promptly. Then, it was like she dropped off the face of the earth. I have not heard from her since e-mailing her several times in the past month. I don't have the money to spend on expensive diapers if they don't 'work' and if the customer service is not great on the manufacturer's end. I have heard the exact opposite comments about Linda and had hoped for better as I wanted to love these diapers (they have great colors), but I would not recommend these diapers.

I use Bum Genius 3.0 OS or fitteds/prefolds now and have not had any problems.

I've tried many different one-size diapers and this is my favorite so far, and one way I can get my husband to use cloths on the baby because it's so easy!

It's a great fitting diaper. It fits my 4 month old and my 2 1/2 year old perfectly! It's so much less bulky between the legs than other pocket dipes, yet really keeps the stuff in! It keeps baby dry, and is so easy to use. I love that they are velcro (easier and faster than snaps) and the opening is nice and wide so they stuff easily too.

I highly reccomend this diaper but first here is a bit of advice:

If they seem to leak at first, just wash them more! It sometimes takes a few washes for the fleece to work properly, or u could try stripping it. Mine leaked at first but now they work great and I luv them! The only time they leak is if I don't stuff them enough or forget to change baby for too long.

If the laundry tabs don't work well for you, try just fastening the diaper like u would on the baby b4 washing. Works for me!

Keep in mind some of the reviews are for the old-style ones where the fleece rolls out along the legs. Those aren't really on the market anymore! But I did like those 2!

I have found that these diapers wick mosture out the side as the nice soft fleecy inside is rolled out for the baby's comfort. It may have been because I have a little boy and if he is pointing north-west instead of due south then the accumulation of moisture on the edge of the diaper causes wicking. I found I could only use them as an around the house diaper for short times and mostly even them came away with wet undershirts. They did hold up well, and dried quickly. I also found that you need to make sure the fleece is pulled up over the ""pocket"" to cover the rear elastic,or red marks are left across bubs back - this can be tricky on a wriggly, just learned to turn over and crawl baby. The one size is quite generous with four possible sizes, however at verging on 10 months we are growing out of them. Prefer Bum Genius (out-grown also). Was able to resell locally at resonable price.

I probably would have rated this a 4 if not for the new snap version. I don't have that version but I'm very happy that they made it since it seemed for a while that all the pocket one sizes were velcro.

We've had this in our diaper bag for outings since day one. The velcro doesn't fasten as well anymore and always has been a bit awkward / bulky, but it still works. The fit is good though not as trim as the Bum Genius one size, but has contained messy BF poos well and I don't recall having a leak in it. We don't use it daily but the fleece seems to pill than some other brands. The BG suedecloth seems to have held up better with washing and use.

This one seems like it might last longer than the BG as the rise is definitely higher (as long as the velcro remains functional). I like that it came with two inserts. I have other pockets that came with hemp inserts and since my daughter wets more heavily now I put microfiber inserts on top of a natural ones these days anyway so I still get use out of both. We always put it in a mesh bag to wash as this one definitely causes a ruckus in the washer if it escapes its bag.

I really like these diapers. I like that there are two sizes for the insert which doesn't cause as much bulk as with some that have an adjustable insert. Many people say that the tabs come undone. Which is true, but on the HH website they gave a suggestion that you fold the tabs behind and twist one side and velcro them together. I think they might have a pic. I started doing that and they haven't come undone since I started. I like the patterns and colors. They are lots of fun.

For the most part we like these diapers. My only two complaints are - 1) I don't like how the elastic ruffle is against his skin on his back, with BG's this is a soft edge 2) We have to double stuff them so they don't leak which makes for a pretty bulky diaper! But they wash the best of all our diapers, NEVER had a stain after washing these!!

Since I just had a new baby in Nov, I was excited to try the things that I sell in my store on a newborn. I am not thrilled about one size diapers in general on small babies, but the HH one size has worked very well for us. My DD is a little over 2 mo and weighs 10 lbs 11 0z. We have used this diaper for about 5 weeks and have loved it. The fit is nice and it is not overwhelming on my little one like some other one sized diapers I have tried. Since my DD is still young and not yet a heavy wetter, leaking has not been an issue. I can say it does do a good job of catching breastfed poo. Color and print choices are fun and it has washed well so far. I have had the laundry tabs come undone a few times but it is not a big deal. Overall I am very happy with this diaper and would recommend it.

The NEW VERSION with SNAPS is AWESOME. I just got them this week and I am in love. The snaps will last longer, I don't have the annoying laundry tab on one side that comes undone in the wash and the new lining is uber soft. My little one seems very content in them as well. They did an excellent job coming out with this product. I HIGHLY recommend this diaper in the snap version. My HHs were neck and neck with my BumGenius, Swaddlebees and Jamtots Berryplush, but with the snaps they are now at the top of my list~!

I'd probably give the velcro version a 4.5, only because of the laundry tab on one side I mentioned. It always comes undone in the laundry, because the front velcro is longer than the fold for the laundry tab. But the diaper itself works very well. I had one in the older style (before the leg gussets were sewn in place) that was sent to me that leaked and I didn't realize it was the old style until I e-mailed the company to inquire about the leaking. I never thought to look at the leg gussets, because I assumed they were the same as the other two I ordered at the same time. But Happy Heinys was awesome. I mailed it in and they sewed the leg gussets for free. I was a little annoyed that the website I ordered from didn't notice or inform me that they were mixing in old styles, but at least HHs stuck by their product.

Not a great diaper. I had it on my youngest today and was disappointed almost immediately. My son was almost 10lbs at birth and is a big boy. He's currently 6 weeks and well over 14 pounds. This diaper on the smallest setting was tightened as much as I could get it. I tried adjusting it for a few minutes and that was as good as I could get it so pee wouldn't just leak out the top. It wasn't on him but an hour and a half before he peed right through it. I prefer my bumGenius! brand one size diapers to these.. they don't leak and adjust to fit my little one better. I am a guinea pig now while I start out on my adventures of cloth diapering. Even after reading some bad reviews I wanted to try for myself. I gave it 3 stars in hopes of it working later on. It may end up fitting my toddler better than it fits my littlest munchkin. I have a feeling this is a hit or miss product.. love it or hate it.

I absoulty LOVE these diapers. I use them on both my 18 month old and 3 month old. Never had a problem with leaks, they fit great (though a little bulky for a newborn). Love all the differnt colors and patterns. They are made very well ( i wash every other day and dry on high heat). They hold up great at night ( with 2 microfiber stuffings, i recomend them to every mother i meet.

When I first got this diaper I didn't think there was anyway it would fit a newborn, but the cow print was so cute I tried it anyway! It fit! It is also the only touchtape diaper I have and I was nervous about it scratching my baby, but so far everything is great! I just wish I had more money to buy more of them. Sometimes it does leak out the side, especially when he lies on his side, but only occasionaly, and what diaper NEVER leaks?

I like these diapers, but I don't love them. My biggest complaint is that the laundry tabs come undone in the wash. I don't have any problems with leaking. I only use the small insert with my 4 month old and change her diaper about every 3 hours. I had problems with the velcro strip warping, but I called the company and they replaced them. They told me that they had some other complaints and it must have been a bad batch of velcro. I requested the snap version for the replacements. I will post my review of them in the weeks to come.

These diapers are OK-not my favourite by a long short, but no major complaints either. Pluses are that they are very adjustable and easy to stuff and for the most part contain leaks. BUT they weak terribly. Even after only a few months the velco is starting to get brittle and the fleece is pilling a lot.

I switched to cloth when my son was 20 mos old – I was also 6 months pregnant. My initial thoughts about these diapers after using them on my toddler were that they were great! They were plenty roomy for him and contained leaks well. They are easy to double stuff for night time and easily last a 12 hour night. When I had my baby in July, I was sure these diapers would be massive on her. I first tried a HHOS on her when she was about 1 month old and was surprised at how well it adjusted to her tiny little body. These are my overnight diapers for her and they are great! Even through her 3-4 month growth spurt when she was waking to feed like a newborn, these diapers held it in. Only a couple of times have we had small leaks by morning because both inserts were sopping wet.

Having said all of that, I did have some issues with these diapers. The laundry tabs - useless!! The crossover tab always pops open in the wash. After about 5-6 months of using these diapers, the velcro on about half of them started to warp, curling back inwards. When stuffed and put on a child, the velcro would lay flat, but it really had to be put on just so and DS pretty much had to wear pants over top to keep it from folding inwards and scratching his belly. I was really disappointed and finally decided to contact Happy Heiny's about it. They immediately offered to replace my defective diapers with the new snap version. She shipped them out promptly and I received them in Canada only a week later!

I have been using the new snap diapers for about a week now and my love for the HHOS has returned! The snaps seem to hold the diaper in place so much better, no wing droop and best of all, no diaper chains in the wash! And of course, the dependability is still there. I can't say these are my absolute favorite diapers in my stash, but I think I just prefer sized diapers. They certainly have their place though and I do really like them. I am a happy Happy Heiny's

This is a great diaper as far as leaks go, or no leaks I should say! I really like the roll out fleece on the legs as my baby has a tendency to get red marks, however, I wish they had done the same on the waist band. My baby constantly has red marks on her waist after wearing this diaper so I can't wear two HHs in a row. I stuff with the HH microfibre insert and a hemp insert for night or going out and it works very well. It washes well, with no pilling but I mostly line dry. MY only suggestion would be to change the waist some how - make it softer on baby's skin.

I originally purchased a one-size pocket diaper sampler from Nicki's diapers that included a bum genius, haute pocket, mommy's touch and happy heinys. I tried out this sampler on my 3 month-old and all of the diapers leaked every single time EXCEPT for the happy heinys. HH never leaked at all. The other brands are probably good diapers but for my baby they did not fit right and couldn't hold anything in!

So I stocked up on velcro-closure HH and have been using them for about a month now. I'm still so impressed with them. The only time I've had a serious leak was when I let a diaper go 8 hours one night... it was just too much for the two inserts to handle. But for now little man almost never sleeps more than 4 hours in a row so it's not a big deal. I've never tried them with just one insert, night or day, as I'd rather have the higher absorbency than a super trim diaper. They are a little bulky this way but I think that comes with the territory of a one-size diaper anyway (one-size is worth it to me for the cost savings!). I've just switched to clothes that are a little bigger and it's fine.

I love the colors and prints that are offered, and customer service at the happy heinys web site is great (I had a question about washing and received an email reply within 12 hours).

I can't comment on durability yet, I'll come back to let you know how well they hold up over time!

These are one of my favourite day time diapers for my son. They have a nice soft interior. The one size is more adjustable than some of the other brands I have tried. I love the big velcro tabs and the fact they easily cross over for smaller babies. With the right inserts these can be nice and trim. I love the one size aspect, so that it will last the distance.

I have many many happy customers that have purchased HH one size diapers from MyBabyFirst.com. They rave about the money they have saved because they are quality made and last wash after wash. They expand in size as their babies grow and there are two inserts included so they really are worth every penny. Moms also appreciate the long list of colors available in these diapers. They are most certainly a favorite by many parents that use cloth diapers.

I carry Happy Heiny's sized diapers in store, Busy Bee Bottoms, and love them! I was really excited to try the OneSize when it came out and have not been disappointed. The excellent quality is just what I would expect from Happy Heiny's. I started using the OS on my son when he was about 2 months old and about 8lbs. The fit was good even on his little legs and I have not experienced any red marks. He is now 9 months old and and we still love it. The fleece stays soft and keeps his skin dry even all night. The Velcro closure makes it quick to put on which is great now that he is rolling over during diaper changes. I will admit it did take a little practice in the beginning to stuff it without the snaps coming undone. But, my son is a heavywetter so I was packing that diaper full (with a Happy Heiny hemp Stuffin, two ovals and two microfiber inserts). Happy Heiny's has made another great product I am happy to recommend!

I tried the new snap version and really wanted to love the diaper. The tabs are way too narrow, leaving a 1"" gap from the top of the tab to the top of the front panel of the diaper. The stock pictures make it appear the tabs should be wider and reach the top of the front panel, but ours where way to narrow to be just a little off. The snap placement also seemed off. Although there are double cross-over tabs, you have to use the double-crossover as there are not caps to do just one cross-over. So we had to do the waist way too tight, which caused the front of the diaper to bunch up and we had major wing droop. The front panel was a lot wider then other OS brands, so it also added to the bulkiness. Even though there are 4 rise settings, IMO the OS would still be too large for newborn. Although I don't have a newborn to try one on, the smallest rise setting was big on my 17 lb son. I have since returned the diaper to the retailer (who is amazingly sweet!) We didn't use it to test absorbency/containment b/c the initial fit was poor.

We have done well with these since we started using them on our 8 1/2 on daughter. There have been occasional leaks but less than with the disposables we were using before, and rarely since I figured out how to get them to fit snugly around the legs. The fit is quite good, but they're a little bulky on such a small baby. My daughter seems comfortable in them, with one or two inserts. I've just ordered another half-dozen.

This is a great way to save money on diapers, I wish I found them when my baby was smaller.
The wash well (I have probably washed 30+ times)
Coming with two inserts makes it so there is always one the right size. Since my baby is older I can use both for overnight without having to purchase a doubler.
Velcro seems to be good quality and stays put (both on baby and during washing).
I havent had any problems with the snaps.
The pocket is huge and easy to stuff.
Overall, a good product.

I'm not crazy about this diaper-- I've only had it for two months, and the fleece is pilling a lot. Also, the fleece has a lot of folds or gathers in it so the poop seems to go everywhere. I have tried both Happy Heiny's one-size pocket and Bumgenius one-size pocket. Both are quite similar in their design of snaps down the front for sizing. Happy heiny's have a polar fleece lining which I like better than the bumgenius suedecloth lining. They also have wider velcro tabs that are very secure. Overall, these are a great choice for easy cloth diapering, esp for DH and nannies. They are trim on older babies, but like all one-sizes, you sacrifice having a bulky diaper when your baby is small. Definitely a great choice to add to your stash for versatility and durability.

I have an 18 month old in Happy Heinys One Size full time and a 2 month old in Happy Heinys One Size part time. I LOVE the diapers. The colour selection is great, the cow print adorable, we have several.

I started using cloth 4 months ago. I started with Happy Heinys, and I've stayed with Happy Heinys. I am so happy with the diapers that I haven't felt the need to try others. My experience cloth diapering has been fantastic from the beginning... largely thanks to these excellent diapers.

Pockets are roomy enough to double stuff easily when needed. I use a HH hemp insert and a regular microfibre insert overnight for 12 hours and my 18 month old wakes up dry.

Velcro is strong, never pops open on my active toddler.

I am anxiously looking forward to being able to purchase another dozen diapers so my newborn can be in cloth full time, too. (We need a money tree in our backyard!)

I started CD'ing with bumgenius 2 months prior to trying HH. Straight off, the HH look trimmer than BGs and there is a lot more diversity in available colors. Initially, I liked the way they fit my DS at 5 1/2m.

As with all microfiber insert CDs, it holds an extraordinary amount of pee and even runny BF poop. No issues with leaks whatsoever.

The only concern I have with the HH OS at this moment is that the fit could be better on my DS, who is now 1 week shy of 7m. Both DH and I feel that these will be fantastic once the boy gets bigger. He's 16lbs, 14oz right now, and long like a string bean. We continue to use them, although they are the back up to our bumgenius OS right now. Likely the HH will be our main diaper once DS gets a bit older.

I tried out a few brands and came to love these and Bum Genius 2.0. I use two inserts side by side in the diaper and I can get at least 3 to 4 hours out of one diaper. I love the fact that my house doesn't smell like a diaper pail and that I am saving a lot of money by not buying all those bags of disposable diapers! I am not a stay at home mom, so I don't have time to be messing around with something that doesn't work and neither does my sitter, but these are wonderful. I love them!

I had a hard time justifying buying large or x-large HH pocket diapers for my nearly potty-trained 2 year old, but I went for the one-sized diaper because I'll be able to use them again on my theoretical second child.

This is my first experience with pocket diapers, so I can't compare to the sized ones, but I'm loving the stuffability of these diapers! Two microfiber inserts *almost* last all night (we're safer with three). My son is two, around 30 lbs, and he still has some growing room left.

I like the adjustability of the snaps on the rise. There is an extra row of snaps compared to the BumGenius. It's great to get that EXACT size you need without buying more diapers -- this will fit a tall skinny child, OR a shorter, rounder child. And you won't need to buy ""petite toddler"" sizes as your kiddo thins out in toddlerhood (like you would need to do with Fuzzi Bunz).

My newest discovery is that I can use the G-Diaper flushable inserts with this pocket diaper, which is GREAT because it is much more trim than any sort of insert. (My son is on a diaper strike and refuses to wear anything bulky right now.) And the G dipes are cost effective because I'm only using one a night (folded in half, in the front of the diaper).

I do not like these diapers at all. They leak all the time. Sometimes they do not even last one hour. I'll change my baby and within minutes he has leaked through. I am going through about 8-10 outfits a day. They leak even when I have doubled up the liner. My baby is only 3 mths old, what am I supposed to do when he is drinking larger amounts. I am so disappointed as my husband and I wanted to be enviro-friendly and use cloth diapers. The sales rep at the store said these diapers were great and never leaked so we bought 24 of them. She never mentioned the fact that we may have to double up the liners..Now we are left with having to decide what to do, sell them and start using disposables or just see if he grows into them. I wish I had seen this web site before I decided to buy the diapers.

I have to stuff mine with a hempy as well. The bum genius one-size inserts are much more absorbant. The diaper is great and has fit from infant to potty trainer. They sometimes wick if left on for too long, definately not a nightime diaper, but a great daytime diaper. The non-prints may have less wicking? I bought a couple new ones and will try them on our newborn. However thus far I leave nightime to my fuzzi bunz and bum genius.

I don't know if it just error on my part, I am new to cloth diapering, but I like other diapers better. I do like how large the pocket is for putting in the inserts. They go in so easily, but I also have to remember to pull the liner up on the back or else it leaves red marks on their backs. I gave this product a 3 because its just not my fave. They have been leaky, cant go more than an hour and a half with out a leak. I am hoping that DD will grow into them but at 20lbs they dont work. Love the colors and the cow print! On the positive the store I bought from is wonderful, the owner is Great really patient with newbie’s to CDing.

I have to say that I like the trim fit of this diaper - no bubble butt. And it fit my baby well right off the bat until now and he's been gaining a pound a week - can't say that for all of the different diapers that we've tried so far. What I don't like it that the pocket is open ended and the liner is a fuzzy, pilly material. Too bad it's not made of organic materials. I did see the Happy Hempy which would be exactly what I'm looking for if it were a one-size-fits-all.
