Not for sensitive or red bums! My son screamed and cried horribly when I used this to treat a rash. I had to use Method instead. But once his bum had healed, this cream has worked well to prevent rash.

I love the smell & easy of use of the stick. It's good for rash PREVENTION, but doesn't work for my toddler if he has redness. I have to go to zinc oxide then-like ""Method"".

I got the roll up kind. I was using the grandma el's ointment. Nothing wrong with that one. This is cheaper and is easier. Smells wonderful and is a good preventer. And a good reliever. (my son had a rush and this one made a good healing job ) Just note that my baby has not a sensitive skin.

I got a sample size of this ointment, and I love it! I have used on a rash as well as little bumps and red marks, and it has cleared everything up within a day. It smells good too. I will definitely be getting more of this when my little sample runs out.

This Northern Essence product has saved us! DD had a horrible diaper rash that was hard to get rid of, and since then, DH has insisted on rash creams that are not compatible with our pocket diapers. This diaper-safe product works for DD, DH, and with cloth diapers--a winner! It smells great, too--even DD smiles when she smells it!
This product has kept even the slightest redness (let alone the awful yeasty rash) totally at bay since we've been using it. Thanks to NE for making a product that keeps DD healthy, pleases my family and works with cloth diapers!!

I love this stuff. It clears up any rashes and prevents them from happening. I put it on when we are going on long outings or naptime. It hasn't affected my cloth diapers. I love the smell of it too!

This product has cured all of my child's diaper rashes quickly. I was thrilled to find a natural product w/out any nasty additives. My pediatrician saw it in our diaper bag and also approved of the ingredient list. We use the version w/ Tea Tree & Lavender. I tried the ""free"" version and it didn't work as well on my son.

I love the rash salve in the twist up tube.. easy application! This product works very well. I use the sensitive formula and so far it really clears any irritations up quickly. It provides a nice barrier against moisture.

I feel bad not giving this ointment a better rating, but I have to say that it has not helped my daughter's rashes heal. It's as though she has no ointment on her skin at all! I'm not sure why, but it just hasn't worked well for her. (I'll add, however, that she has really difficult skin that is very hard to heal at times.) It does wash out of her cloth diapers very nicely, though. I tried both the regular and the lavender-free. Maybe if we used it more preventatively it would keep rashes away. I just wouldn't recommend to actually heal a rash.

WOW! I love this diaper rash cream!! It smells DIVINE!! Yummy!! My little girl had a nasty rash while she was on her very first antibiotics- nothing would clear it up until I put this on her. Within a few hours it cleared up her bum and made her skin nice and normal again! Love it love it!!!

I got this diaper rash ointment because it is one of the few that are safe to use with cloth diapers. You don't even have to use a liner! So that is a great selling point for me right there! I got the Tea tree and Lavender free first to try and I loved it!! The twist up tube is so wonderful! I just recently ordered more and got a 1 oz of the natural to try and it smells so good! But the push up tube is a little tricky. Still great though!

I can't cloth diaper without my Northern Essence salve. I use the lavender-free version because my DD has very sensitive skin. This is the only CD-compatible diaper rash treatment I've found that actually works on her stubborn diaper rash. Within one or two applications, her rash is practically gone. It's great for prevention too. LOVE IT!

I really like this gentle, natural diaper salve. It leaves my baby's bottom soft and soothes irritations. I purchased the push up tube for convenience. My four year old also likes the push up tube to pretend he is using deodorant :)

I received a sample of this along with a diaper order. We have not had to use it many times, however when we did it worked great. It is the fastest working product I've ever used for a diaper rash. Literally one diaper change. I love something that works so fast to soothe my little one, yet is super safe for her diapers. I recommend it for anyone who had a baby/toddler that has issues with rashes.

I've applied this on the baby's bum every time I changed the disposable diaper and it kept rashes at bay. I haven't had to use it since I switched to cloth. Once DD had a heat rah on her neck so I applied the salve and it went away by next day. It smells very good!

We don't need rash creams often, but this has come in handy when my daughter's bottom has gotten irritated. It clears her up within one diaper change. It goes on easy and does not coat the inner of her diapers like commercially available products.

This product is awesome and so is Traci. I purchased this product because I was tired of using the store bought kind and having to cover it using a washcloth when using our Fuzzi bunz since this product is safe on cloth diapers.
Coincidentally, the day my product arrived, my daughter and a few red patches before going to bed. I put this stuff on before bedtime and her little tushie was back to normal in the morning.
Even her pediatrician thought this stuff was great. Last week, my daughter had the yeast infection rash and her doctor recommended me to use this product with the prescription. I definitely recommend this!!!!!

loved this stuff. i used this exclusively through a 4 day intestinal bug and prolific green, runny, big poos with ZERO sign of rash. i was really worried that all the bile she was passing would burn her, but nope. this salve was fantastic. plus - - i could use a few clean fingers to get it out and not contaminate the tub. i have a salve stick that i was already using and happy with (merry hempsters), but i quit using immediately with the diarrhea because swiping the tube over the skin - clean or not - didn't seem like a good idea germ-wise. i still like both, but the northern essence stuff really did well!
i have one complaint though. i wish it wasn't made with lavender. i know a lot of the baby stuff is, but it's my understanding from the stuff i've read that lavender is full of phyto-estrogens. i'd really prefer not to be smearing that on her southern end all the time. i do love these products, but i'm on the search for a beeswax produce without the lavender essential oils.
update: rats. i jinxed myself and reviewed too soon. she's rashy today (next day). i switched over to unrefined shea butter. hoping that helps. i'm still in love with this salve, but i thought it was magic in a tub. it's not, it's just super wonderful :)

The best diaper rash solution out there. Combats irritation from fruit loving toddlers! Apply at the first sign of redness and it's gone! I use it with most diaper changes for prevention of any red bum. Totally compatable with cloth diapers!
