These are great! Just as easy to use as disposables. We send these to daycare with no problems. When baby was about 6 weeks old the smalls fit but we did have a couple leaky breastmilk poo blowouts, but I would expect that with disposables sometimes too. Have only had 2 leaks at daycare (2 months) and that was due to liquidy poo coming out the top on back when he was laying down.

Fleece is a little pilly now, after 4 months of use and washing, but still works great and really just looks a little 'used' when you open the diaper. The outside still looks great.

Highly recommend. Great for travel and when others are watching your child and freak when you say you use cloth. :-)

Have been banished from our stash after months in the ""use me dead last"" pile. Never got a good fit on our skinny boy. Other cons: no elastic at back therefore lots of poopy blowouts, too-short inserts leave soggy gaps at front or back, difficult to adjust for skinny baby, fleece stains very easily, very bulky between the legs.
Only received a ""2"" rating instead of a ""1"" because I don't think it's a terribly poorly constructed diaper, just a bit on the industrial one-size-fits-some side, and my guy doesn't fit into that group.

I had to update my review because FB certainly have a place in every stash IMO---I love them for outings. I don't use the FB insert, but the one-size Cotton Babies with an ATD insert added. I NEVER have leaks. I certainly wouldn't want a whole stash of these because microfiber just isn't my favorite. But the fit of these diapers is great for high-waisted babies, they wash well, and have adorable colors!

I am new to cloth diapering, and after lots of research I decided to purchase FuzziBunz One Size Diapers. I fell in love immediately. I haven't used any other cloth diapers, so I can't compare it to anything except disposable. These diapers are SO easy to use, super soft, absorbent, and have a great fit! They fit my 15 lb. 6 m/o and my 35 lb. 2 y/o. I HIGHLY recommend these diapers - they're GREAT!!!

I like the idea of snap diapers. I worry about the velcro tabs on my Bum Genius diapers rubbing my daughter's tummy or thighs (a major problem with previous children and disposables!). While the Fuzzi Bunz address this problem, it introduces a new problem in that the hip snap is set on it's loosest setting while the waist is set on the second smallest! She's got chunky thighs, but nothing to write home about! I'd say she's a fairly average, well proportioned baby. There needs to be more adaptability to the thigh setting. Another reason I didn't give them a great review is because they do not clean anywhere near as easily as my prefolds, Snap Ez or Bum Genius diapers. For whatever reason, the fleece used by Fuzzi Bunz does not release stains as well as the other diapers do. And finally, the insert for my smalls is too short. It does NOT fill the full length of the pocket, which annoys me to no end and reduces the amount it can absorb.

Things I liked: cute patterns, easy to stuff due to big pocket opening, the OS adjustment system is awesome, good absorption.

Cons: STINK! I've never had a dipe build up ammonia salts so quickly! Gross!

I sold it after I took care of the stink issues. It was the best pocket I've tried so far though.

I liked how these fit my daughter...but she is a very average sized child, if not a little skinny and the mediums fit her very well until she was potty trained at age 2 1/2. I loved them so much initially that I bought smalls to use with my son...who turned out to be a chunk so he fit into them right away. However, I was disappointed because they did not contain his blowouts. As he grew, I had an increasingly hard time getting the right fit with the snap settings offered. In the end, I sold them because I couldn't use them on my son due to his body build (skinny legs, large belly)and could never get the flaps to lay smooth when I adjusted the snaps to accomodate his shape.(Aplix ended up being the solution for his shape) I did LOVE the color selections, and felt that fuzzibunz are very well made, with excellent customer service!

I'm not a fan of these diapers at all. Due to the snaps, they are difficult to get adjusted to a smaller baby (my girl couldn't fit into the size small until she reached 10 lbs). I also find that the fleece stains easily. They are overpriced in my opinion.

The Snaps (not velcro which wears out, is easily removed by most toddlers and scratches skin!!) and elastic are durable meaning you can use Fuzzibunz Perfect Fit through many children and they are SO trim fitting (both around the legs AND back!!) while still allowing maximum absorbency.

FuzziBunz are my favorite diapers now and have been for the past 6 months. I had gotten BumGenius initially, but noticed that while it's easy to put on, the velcro irritates my daughter's skin. It also attracts lint during the wash/dry cycles even though I attach it to the tab and ever since DD was 10 months, she's been pulling her diaper off. With the FuzziBunz, it's harder for DD to take it off and it does take a little longer to put on since it has snaps, but it stays new. It doesn't get worn out like BumGenius and stays looking new and not tattered like the BG. I love these diapers and I can see them lasting through a 2nd child. You do have to make sure that they're on tight, though, because I have experienced leaks, but due to not fastening them tight enough. Also, they're easier to stuff than BG.

I love these diapers! I didn't start cloth diapering until my son was 1 so I needed a diaper that was quick and easy to put on and super absorbent.

Fuzzi Bunz fulfilled all of those requirements and so much more. The diapers are made of quality materials and I haven't had any problems with leaks.

When I ordered a second batch the inserts seemed smaller than the first batch and I contacted Fuzzi Bunz directly and they sent me the correct inserts free of charge. These are the diapers I send to daycare with my boy because I know they won't have any problems with them leaking, especially during nap time because he sleeps on his side.

I also wanted to say that the wrong inserts are not any fault of Pittsburgh Cloth Diapers. The diapers she was sent had the wrong inserts in them. The owner, Lilli, was great in helping me settle the issue with Fuzzi Bunz.

All in all, they are alright, but certainly not great for me. I think the fit is quite good, and they are easy to use. I find them very trim, maybe even a little too trim, but they are nice for fitting under pants. Very cute and cheerful colours.

Things I don't like:

First wash, the fleece is totally pilled. Some of the snaps fell off. Yes, that is before the baby even wore them. Luckily, CS at fuzzi bunz was very accomodating and replaced the diaper promptly, which I greatly appreciated.

The stay dry fleece liner, doesn't do a very good job of keeping baby dry. I can feel the dampness from the liners right through it! Even when barely peed in. My drybees pockets NEVER do this.

The elastic is not great, it's still working, but it won't be in a year. Again, my drybees pockets' elastic is still in perfect condition, and I have had them for the same length of time.

Also, the PUL of ONE of my Fuzzi bunz is detatching. I'm assuming since the others are fine, this is a quality control problem, or a random occurance. It doesn't effect the absorbancy but it does cause me some distress when stuffing the diaper.

I won't buy more.

I am new to CD'ing, and I knew I wanted to try pocket-type diapers first. I went with Fuzzi Bunz for two reasons: 1) because I wanted to support a Louisiana entrepreneur, and 2) because I knew these were the original pocket diapers.

I have not been disappointed. After two months of every-other-day washing and hanging to dry, they're still like new. Soft fleece, absorbent inserts, no PUL bubbling or coming off, bright, bold, beautiful colors. They're easy to launder--I just use Charlie's Soap and Calgon water softener and hang to dry in the sun as often as possible. My neighbors laugh about seeing brightly colored cloth diapers hanging in rainbow order on my clothesline!

We've had only one or two ""carseat blowouts""--we had this issue nearly daily when we were using disposables--and no nighttime leaking. A diaper gets put on at 8 pm and changed again around 8 am, and he nurses all through the night. The stay-dry fleece does a great job of protecting our son's little bum from diaper rash. For nighttime use, I recommend stuffing a FB insert inside a Nurtured Family two-ply contoured insert, then stuffing the whole shebang inside the pocket. It's bulky, but it does the trick.

The snaps allow for a great fit, and there's no worry about velcro or aplix getting ruined in the wash.

My mother and mother-in-law love showing off their fluffy-bummed grandson, and we all tell everybody about Fuzzi Bunz!

LOVE my FB diapers. I think I read about cloth diapers for 6 months, just figuring out what was what. Finally when the new baby arrived I ordered several diapers I had heard good things about. OS Fuzzi Bunz, sized FB, Happy Heiny, Bumgenius, Goodmama and a WAHM type. After trying them out for about 3 weeks and many rounds of washing the FB were the clear winner. I love the snaps, they are less bulky than the velcro and are holding up the wear and washing much better. I've never had a stain in these that a few minutes in the sun didn't zap right out. They wash and dry quickly and look perfect when I'm done. I love that I haven't had more than 1 or 2 poop leaks... amazing when you are dealing with a breast-fed newborn. I quickly stocked my changing table with FB... the best cloth diaper around!

We've used our FuzziBunz from the time our daughter was 9 months old. She's two and a half now. They're workhorse diapers! They're starting to lose elasticity around the legs, but considering how much use I've gotten out of them, I am impressed. I also like how big the openings are. They're easy to stuff and the inserts are easily shaken out when ready for a wash. I highly recommend the Hemp Babies inserts to go with. Microfiber inserts cause a lot of stink issues, plus they tend to lose their absorbency over time!

I'm surprised that people have experienced blowouts with these diapers. The snaps on the diapers allow the diaper to grow with the child and, in my experience, fit VERY well.

FuzziBunz has also been a supporter of Miracle Diapers. You really have to appreciate businesses that donate to charities.

I love Fuzzi Bunz on my children. They provide a great fit and great absorbancy. They have the most awesome customer service in my experience. I had the pul ""peeling/flaking"" off in many of my diapers (Most were bought at same time, so prob from the same batch). I had started to buy some new ones to replace them as I would need them for my second child. I was disappointed as I had witness my friends use their Fuzzi Bunz through multiple children and mine only lasted through one starting around 6mo in Med, but I figured I still saved money and helped my child as she got rashes all the time from sposies. I also thought maybe my water type had to do with it or something. I followed their washing instructions with air drying and used no department store detergents or any containing softeners/brighteners. I decided with encouragement from one of their retailers to contact them about it and I'm sure glad I did. They ended up replacing every single one with no cost to me, I just had to send back the old problem ones, which they paid postage for! I guess sometimes the machine makes mistakes like all of us and doesn't bond the pul correctly. I was floored and so happy that they did this for me! They stood completely behind their product and were quick to answer my e-mail/phone calls. Also, I did experience stink problems with my inserts as my daughter got older, but mine were not just Fuzzi Bunz ones, I also had Thirties. The were all microfiber. I hope to avoid this problem more so this time around as I had it explained in a way that totally makes sense. The detergents I have used on my diapers don't use fillers or things that will leave behind a residue, but I was using a normal department store detergent on my clothes which would leave a residue in the washer due to fillers and such that they use so when I would wash my diapers that residue would get left on them. I have now switched to strictly using Charlie's on everything and I can tell the difference in smell i

I've used these for almost 3 years straight. Washed nearly every other day. They're still in great shape. I'm so pleased to know they'll continue to serve future kids, beyond maybe even my own. Size medium have fit my 4-6 week olds through almost 3 year old.
I love the snaps. I've used HH and like them, but the velcro is not only easy to UNdo (2nd baby does this a lot) but also chaffs his belly no matter how carefully I fasten it.
FB are awesome pocket diapers. I think it's all about how you stuff them.

What they don't tell you is that you absolutey can't launder these diapers with regular detergent like you would the rest of your laundry. You have to use special detergent which you can ONLY buy online. You also have to run extra soaks and rinses or the diapers will leak constantly. If someone would have told me this from the start, I would have been much more satisfied with this diaper.

So this will be a mixed FB review. We had perfect fit FB for a while, I never really liked them. The mistake was probably mine, I started with mediums on my 15 pound, 4 month baby. He really needed smalls. I eventually sold them, not a fan. However, FB came out with the one-size and it completely changed my view. I LOVE these dipes. I have a tall, skinny boy so fit is a problem with us. We cannot follow typical weight recommendations. These are the best onse-size pocket out there, IMO, because you adjust the waist and the leg openings. I can get a perfect fit on my son. I do have one complaint, hence the 4. The inserts, while the BEST overnight inserts I've used, are too bulky for day use. I use Bumgenius inserts during the day and am very pleased. Overall, this will be our choice for baby number 2!

I LOVE my FB! they are the best diapers I have owned. After 20 months of continuous use the snaps, stitching and elastic was in great condition. I had used them without any problems at all. I tried others and sold them on or returned them because they just couldn't compare to FB's. I was so disapointed then they started to compression leak 2 weeks ago. I flipped them inside out the PUL had cracked. I contacted FB's and was told to send them in for replacement. I only expected to recieve seconds and when I opened the box I was so excited to see that they replaced them with brand new FB's with inserts! I had them within 10 days of contacting them and they went way above and beyond! Their diapers truly are workhorse diapers and I love having them as my main stash!

I love Fuzzi Bunz Perfect Fit diapers! The only time they've ever leaked for us was when my daughter outgrew the smalls and I did not buy the mediums quick enough and when we needed to add an extra insert (she's a heavy wetter.) Once in a great while we have a blow out from a massive poop, but I think that would happen with any diaper.
When I first started CDing, I bought a bunch of Bum Genius and Fuzzi Bunz, being unsure which I would prefer. The Bum Genius are no longer fitting my 5 month old chunky monkey very well and the velcro is crunchy and no longer working well. Also, the inside of the BG turns in and the velcro rubs her poor little tummy. The Fuzzi Bunz are have never rubbed her raw. She also will grab the BG velcro straps and pull them open. I'm just waiting for her to start ripping her diaper off.
The Fuzzi Bunz also come in some pretty cute colors/patterns. People are always commenting on how cute her diapers are.

At first we *loved* these diapers... we had a bunch of smalls, which took a few months before we could use them. They sat there on the shelf looking so pretty.. we couldn't wait to use them! While we waited for them to fit our daughter we used a combination of size 0 kissaluvs and bummis prefold diapers. I am glad we had this waiting time though, because we may have never discovered how much we liked these other diapers. When we started using the fuzzibunz they worked amazingly, we were careful about washing, having already been warned about the stink problems. We found we needed to strip our diapers every other month at first and then more frequently. Recently we stopped using them all together because, despite contacting FB and following all of their advice, our children were blistering from the build up- if they sat for any time at all after they peed. The fit is really roomy however, so although a small is huge on a newborn, we found the medium sized diapers lasted a very long time. We have been able to continue to use the FB if we stuff it with a prefold, since it appears it is the insert that is problematic.

I kept them for a while hoping he would ""grow into"" them, but no luck. We never had any leaks or any other issues (well, one did have the PUL separate, but they do come with a warranty), but I just wasn't happy with them after seeing what else was out there. They are one of those diapers where you either love them or you don't. We didn't. I would much rather have a prefold and cover anyday.

Love love love Fuzzi Bunz. I researched like a maniac when I was pregnant and after reading about a million reviews I decided to invest in FB diapers. I started with 12 small FB to see how I liked them. I soon realized I would need more and bought 12 mediums (just made the baby wear them on smallest setting, it was fine). I bought 72 Imse Vimse cloth wipes to go with them. When baby was 9 months old I bought 12 more mediums and 12 larges. Now baby is 23 months and almost potty trained. We have 36 diapers in rotation (the 24 mediums and the 12 larges) and we never have any trouble at all! We did have some problems when we were using the dryer at first (smelly and not super white) so my husband put in a clothesline and ever since then we've had lovely fresh-smelling bright white dipes wash after wash. I'm 8 months pregnant now and baby #2 will have all her diapers ready and waiting, and they still look brand new! These dipes seem the best to me, but I've only ever used this one brand. Other friends who have tried cloth have mostly all quit and I think it's b/c of the lower quality dipes being a bigger hassle.

Niether love it or hate it. It works well if I have a very thick superdo insert or an added doubler with a regular insert. I have had leaks with this diaper if I do not take the extra steps. Other than that I like the snap system on front better than velcro on other brands because it doesnt come undone when baby is moving around without a shirt on.

I just received a new order of Medium Fuzzi Bunz today and was so excited. I'm was a full advocate of the product and have used them since my daughter was born. I experienced few leaks until the current size was too small. I have also received great customer service with the company on issues that I had previously on a few diaper. That was until this last order . . . .

Despite the greatness of the product, I'm a little concerned with the quality of them. I was thinking in my mind that I wanted all make in USA ones and was excited to see that all but one that I received was indeed made in USA.

However . . . . I must say that the quality of these made in USA ones are not what a $20 diaper should be. The made in China one is perfect unfortunately to say and the insert in this one is far thicker. With the made in USA ones the top stitching isn't all even, the snaps are not even or in the same place on all diapers (some not even on the same diaper), the tabs are all different sizes (some don't even have enough fabric to hang on to), they measure at different sizes across and a couple have a small hole on the top at the back at the stitching line.

While I know that these diapers are hand made by SATM's, I still think that they should be perfect when buying from this large of a company and at the price that they charge. It is like they are rushing to get them done too quickly or the quantity that they are needing now requires them to have less qualified sewers.

I have tried numerous times to contact the company with no response on their part. I gave them a 1 because of the quality and their customer service. They were a great diaper, easy to use, quick wash/dry, great colors, good fit etc but the quality STINKS now!! If I was to have seen these diapers in a store instead of online I never would have purchased them. I would have gone with a different diaper.

FUZZI BUNZ ONE SIZE DIAPERS
I purchased my diapers on 2/26/09.

I contacted Fuzzi Bunz on 4/09/09. I was having LEAKS, the elastic was starting to stretch and curl up. The elastic would curl up and then leave MARKS on baby!

Fuzzi Bunz advertises FREE elastic replacement on the one size fuzzi bunz within warranty (18 months) that will be shipped to you.

After trying to work with Ms. Kim Walker and Ms. Karen Theriot at Fuzzi Bunz for almost 2 months, I still had no elastic replacement and terrible leaky diapers. Ms. Karen Theriot (Manager) contacted me on 1 occasion and NEVER bothered to respond to ANY of the 6 emails that I sent to her.

I finally contacted Ms. Thereson Dupuy (owner and founder). At this point, I had been trying to get help for almost 2 months. I sent her all of my previous correspondence and expressed to her how disappointed in both my diapers and service I was.

She responded that they DID NOT HAVE ANY EXTRA ELASTIC lying around to send me. She also seemed to believe that my issues had been ""resolved"".

I emailed her back that we were still having issues with our diapers and that we still wanted Fuzzi Bunz to assist us. NO RESPONSE!

These diapers leak, leave red marks, gape in the front, and are very bulky.

Even worse, Fuzzi Bunz has refused to stand by their product. I see no excuse for this. I have the original receipt and have taken care of these diapers exactly as the manufacturer recommends.

I would give it a 0 if that was an option.

Bottom line: I don't recommend the Fuzzi Bunz One Size diapers. I have really liked my Fuzzi Bunz Perfect Fit diapers, but I would not even recommend them after the terrible customer service.

Our first cloth diapers, I thought that the high price tag would mean high quality. These worked well for my son, terrible for my daughter, so leaky! I tried to contact the company for advice and got recording after recording. I was not impressed with their web site's care/warranty section in which they let you know that your diapers may become waterproof regardless of your actions and care procedures and that it's not their fault. Then some of the laminate on the PUL started to pull away from the knit layer and I realized that some of the snaps on the looser settings didn't work. Awesome. More recordings. Finally I sold the things and went to covers and liners for a while before finding WhyMommy? pocket diapers at a local craft fair (not sure you can get them on line) and they rock! So much better, the elastic is better, the side snaps don't allow wing droop, the velour inner doesn't stain or pill, the colors are so cute and trendy, they come with a doubler and the price is better. I would not buy a Fuzzi again, if you can find a WhyMommy? I would buy it.

After trying several different pockets, I've settled on these as the best. They almost never leak & fit well. I have the old style mediums which I purchased used from several different people. I use them with micro-fiber inserts & they hold a lot of pee with no wicking.

My only complaint now is that they appear to be a bit hot (now that it's summer). But, I suppose it comes with the territory with PUL.

I've been using the older style Fuzzi Bunz for about 8 months and treated myself to a dozen new Fuzzi Bunz medium diapers for Earth Day. They fit a bit bigger than the older style (perhaps b/c the old ones were matted down from much use!). I love the colors and patterns and get asked about them everywhere I go. They are super adjustable and accomodate 2 inserts for overnight well. They dry super fast and never hold odors. I can hardly believe how clean they come out every time, even when I'm sure they won't!!
I went online trying to find a Canadian supplier of Fuzzi Bunz diapers at a
great price. I came across Bouncing Babies (located in Surrey, BC) and was
surprised that the prices were in Canadian dollars, because they were so
competitive in price, I assumed it was US currency. On top of that, there
was a discount for purchasing a dozen. Cloth diapers are an investment so I
reviewed several online stores before selecting this one. I had one question
and sent an email at 9pm. By 10:30pm the same day my question had been
answered and a link sent to me to make things easy.
I ordered my 12 fuzzi bunz diapers at about noon on Thursday. No word of a
lie, I opened my door at 8am on Friday (less than 24 hours later) in Nelson,
BC to see my new diapers, which came with free shipping as I had met the
minimum order requirements. The order was perfect; there was also a
complimentary cloth wipe, use and care information and a copy of my receipt
for warranty purposes.

I will definitely be a repeat customer!

These were okay, they held poop and pee and didn't wick, but they are super bulky and the fleece starts to pile faster than on many of the WAHM diapers I have. The color selection is so so. They are pictured very well. The colors look much different in person. The periwinkle is really lavender and not so much a powdery blue color that is pictured.

The inserts that they come with are very thin and not very absorbent, but we replaced them with angel bunz and haven't had a problem.

I won't buy them again. Rump-a-Rooz is better and they have reliable sources to prove their workers have the same rights as citizens of Denmark. Fuzzi Bunz can't explain the plant in Mexico that has since been shut down.

I adore Fuzzi Bunz. This coming from a reformed diaper snob, lol. Over the past two years of CDing my DS I have used a ton of diapers, from HTF fitteds, bamboo pfs to various pockets and AIOs. I always come back to FBs. They work so well, and the mediums fit for such a long time they are basically a one-size diaper for us. We've had a couple with elastic issues, but thankfully they were still covered by the MOE warranty so I just sent them in and was sent brand new replacements within a week. They are the most functional and reliable diapers for us. Over the past two years I have wished many a time that I had just purchased two dozen medium FBs and nothing else along the way. I would have saved a ton of money! Love FBs and will use the mediumsw we have now on the next baby, and buy a couple dozen smalls, too!

I have a very heavy wetter, and with 2 Hemp Stuffins in there, We have a dry night, every night. I highly suggest this diaper to anyone who is looking for a night time diaper.

I really like the two rows of snaps for the waist and thighs. I feel like I have a custom-made diaper that fits just right. Deanne at Dream Diapers is so nice, too. What service!

Some of our Fuzzi Bunz are 2 years old and look like new. They are truly a great diaper and the snaps mean they'll last through several kids (no fraying, snagging velcro). The new prints are adorable!

Our daughter was very big, however, and they didn't fit her when she was at her chunkiest. They fit her as a newborn and infant, but then around 6 months, the mediums were too small in the thighs, but the large's rise was too large. Then, the mediums were too small for her, but the rise of the larges were too long. She was pretty much a Buddha belly, low rise toddler, and they just didn't fit well for a while. But, they're still a great diaper if they fit your baby's build. Happy Heiny's and Swaddlebees fit her much better.

But, it seems like the newer sizing might have worked better for her.

I think finding the right insert combination is key. We always needed more absorbency than 1 microfiber insert, but 2 microfiber inserts seemed too bulky. We tried the Swaddlebees hemp doublers with a microfiber insert, and love the combination! Trim and no leaks! Yay! bumGenius microfiber inserts are much better than the insert that comes with Fuzzi Bunz, too.

All in all, I really like this diaper. It's easy to wash, quick drying, easy to stuff, and they're really cute. I love these diapers for outings.

The only complaint I really have is that I have to be really careful not to go too long in these though because they seem to wick at the legs if he gets too wet. I wouldn't say they leak exactly, just wick a little.

They are bigger then the BG 3.0, which is nice and don't leave red marks. they aren't any bulker then any of the other pocket diapers.

I used the new fuzzibunz one size cloth diapers for my son. They are so cute. I couldn't believe how soft and cuddly they are. It's so amazing these microfiber inserts absorb so much liquid and keeping my baby dry inside and outside (no leeks). On the first day of cloth diapering, my son pooh pooh... I couldn't believe how easy it is to clean, the pooh goes away and no stain on the inside white fluffy diaper. Started with six, added three more, and adding more with diff colors.

Not a bad diaper, but it doesn't fit our tall, skinny LO very well. We have had lots of problems with leg leaks. Now, at 5 months, she is still on the smallest snap setting on a size small, and the fit is still poor around the legs.

It's easy to use, though, and I can see why people would like this diaper if it fit their child better.

FB were the first CD that I ever ordered. I was a devotee with my first two girls. When my third (boy) was born I needed to order some un-pink diapers so thankfully I did not go straight to the newly redesigned FB as there was a host of new products to try on the market. I found the new design is wider and not an appropriate fit for my narrow son. However I did like the new wing design. I did not like the insert that comes with the new one. In the first batch I bought I was supplied with hemparoo inserts which are much more absorbent.
I've given these a 4 because they do last - I can attest for that. They are old faithful. And I happily lend them to friends when I try to convert them to cloth. However I have become an AMP AIO convert because they never leak and are a lot easier to use.

I was a bit afraid of the extra 'hassel' of cloth diapering, but knew I wanted to do so for the environment and our bank account. I looked around for months comparing all the different options and reading the reviews. In the end we decided on Fuzzi Bunz, and couldn't be happier. My husband and I LOVE our Fuzzi Bunz! They are so easy to use and care for. We just do a cold rinse and then a hot wash w/ Charlie's Soap and they come out looking like new everytime! It only takes us about 10 minutes every other day and we aren't throwing big soiled bags of our hard earned money into the landfill. We have used these since our son's cord stump fell off. The smalls fit him great back then and at almost 4 months old/13 pounds he is still only on the 1st-2nd snap! We liked them so much we already ordered our mediums from kellyscloset (although, the way the smalls are lasting we won't need them for quite some time). They have a great package of 18 diapers, Charlie's soap, baby bits for the wipes warmer, cloth wipes, a wet bag, and extra inserts. It was all we needed for cloth diapering.
These diapers are trim, cute, and the snaps don't stick to everything in the wash like velcro can. I have recommened Fuzzi Bunz to everyone I know- they are a GREAT cloth diaper. We are planning on using them for all of our future children also.

We even use them at night with a hemp doubler and they work great! Leaks are rare as they fit so well. I like the large pocket which makes them easy to stuff and unstuff. It also helps you avoid getting ""yuckies"" on your hands! These are a quality diaper. I did have an issue with the MF inserts holding stink b/c of my water, but stuffing with cotton PFs works well too. These are a great fitting trim diaper!

This review is for the new style / size medium. I like these as far as pockets go. I have yet to find a pocket that never leaks (like my trusty fitteds and prefolds), but I think that occasional leaks are unavoidable (like when dd rolls over on her side and does a yoga move with a leg up over her head! :).

But these fit well and are nice and wide through the middle so you can fit a good bit of stuffing in if using for nights, and I don't usually get red marks on the legs since the elastic works well but doesn't cut in tightly. They seem to hold up well in the wash (although we don't use them on a daily basis). We've been using them from 3 months to 10 months / 20 pounds and they still seem like they will last a good while longer since the rise is still high and we are snapping to the middle.

They are a staple in our diaper bag for quick changes on the go, and they can last a couple of hours comfortably with an extra hemp or bamboo stuffer added under the microfiber insert (but just the microfiber insert alone doesn't last long for us anymore now that dd wets more heavily).

I love these diapers for ease of use out of the home. They are cute, they hold well after multiple washes, and they snap for snug fit to grow. I do have problems with the sizes from Med to Large. The Meds were too small for my DS before the LG's fit properly. The larges are still too large on the tightest setting and I've had to stuff extra thick so they don't leak around the legs. My daycare approved this diaper to use, but also told me they would stop using them if they couldn't get them to stop leaking. There is no half size. I haven't tried the NEW style, but looking at the reviews, I think I'm just going to switch to AIO'S at least for daycare. Otherwise, these dipes are awesome!

I'm giving this a one because can't even use the diaper. We ordered off of their size chart which clearly placed out 15 month old in a size medium. IT IS HUGE. I mean laughably HUGE. With a single insert it hangs down to his knees. The tabs are even different sizes on all three diapers we ordered. Such a waste....I just donated them to a local parenting group. Our son wore the mediums for 4 months only (!) - at 24lbs he was on the largest leg snap, they were being pulled tight around his legs and left red marks on his thighs. Boo! We were sad about it because they were so expensive and we bought so many and according to the growth chart and FB's sizing info he should have been able to wear them for almost another year but his thighs wouldn't have it. I have used these diapers for about 8 months. I have to say that they really have worked out fine for us. I have a son that is now almost 15 months old. I bought 16 FB diapers and do laundry just about every other day or so. I change my son every 2 hours with FB. We get a leak every once in a while but if I change him on the nose each 2 hours its not an issue. I double up on the insert at night and he is dry in the morning 80% of the time. The best thing abut this company is their customer service. I recently looked at my diapers and noticed that 7 of the 16 had the stitching break. I e-mailed FB and told them my problem. I saved my reciept from my purchase and I sent FB pictures of the defects and the reciept and they very kindly sent me out 7 brand new diapers to replace the ones that were coming apart. In this day and age it is tryly amazing that you find a company that is this helpful to you. Thanks again FB! OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Nicole Farnetti. Campbell CA

FB pockets seem to be a ""love'em or hate'em"" diaper, but that seems to be true of most high profile brands. We havn't had any leaks. I love using snap diapers. The snaps hold up great, allow for easy leg and waist adjustment, and don't snag in the wash. The micro insert is good for daytime use. I use a Little for Now hemp prefold as a night stuffer with a micro insert. The fleece does get pilly, but that is true of most fleece-lined diapers we have. I bought these along with a few other top brands to sample before deciding which to buy in higher quantities for both my then-20 mos old DS and my new baby girl on the way. Right away, the Fuzzibunz was my least favourite. I found the front snaps very awkward to fasten. The material seemed very flimsy, but on the plus side, made the diaper very trim under clothing.

After a few months, I noticed the PUL in my Fuzzibunz starting to """"bubble"""". I contacted Nicki's diapers (where I bought it) and they told me I had to get in touch with Fuzzibunz for any warranty. After a few emails, I never got a response. The PUL eventually completely separated into 2 layers - a plastic-y inner and fabric-y outer, and a few months later the plastic-y part ripped altogether. The snaps also didn't seem reinforced properly. The first few times I used the diaper, the snaps on one side almost pulled right through the fabric. So I've been careful to pull the snaps apart rather than just undoing the diaper like I do with all my others. The fleece also pilled like crazy. So, after 9 months of use (in a very large rotation), this diaper is garbage. Looks like a nasty limp old rag.

Lastly, the insert that came with my Petite (basically a large for skinny kids) was the same size as my small inserts - totally didn't fit the diaper. Useless.

Fuzzibunz get a big thumbs down from this mama!

Edited to add: after posting my review, I saw a previous poster's praise about Kim at FuzziBunz customer service. I contacted her and received a reply within 10mins offering to replace my diaper. I will be sure to update my review when I get the replacement!

I love Fuzzi Bunz! I got the $10 trial pkg of cloth diapers from Jillians Drawers and these were by far the best. I was able to find them for sale new on eBay in a lot of 12. They are the best fitting and we have had only a couple of naptime leaks in the beginning. I would recommend these to anyone interested in cloth diapering. I'm expecting baby #3 in about a month and I will be using FB diapers on him as well.

I bought these brand new for my then 7 month old ds. He is now over 3 and these are still going strong for his little brother! They look just as great as the day we bought them! We haven't had any issues with PUL, elastic, fading, or anything! These cds were also the ONLY ones that fit our super skinny little guy.{they are now also working to fit our chunky monkey new little one}. I love the wide pocket so that it is easy to stuff. I have to use extra stuffin because ds is a super soaker so he needs extra inserts/prefolds. These diapers hold up very well and we haven't had a leak. {Except for the time that I only had one insert, but needed two}. lol We just purchased more FBs to get a larger stash and haven't found any sizing issues at all. The new style seems to be exactly the same size as our old style FBs. I do wish they would have Lime Green available in the new style though! That was one of our favorite colors!

I really like these diapers - they are responsible for getting me hooked on cloth b/c of their great balance of fashion and functionality. The best thing about them for me is the fit - the sz med has fit my skinny high rise son since he was 4mos and there is no sign of him outgrowing them at 1yr. They're definitely showing some wear after 8 months of heavy use but this hasn't affected the functionality. We did have a minor stink problem for a bit but after some stripping and soap change we haven't had a problem. I do wish the inserts were a bit better quality and they are expensive.

These have always been our night time diaper. I like the snap settings so I can get the thigh setting tight and the waist too. They fit my son very well and until recently they never leaked at night. He is 2 now and pees in large ammounts so I think we just needed to up the inserts. The only down to these is they always seemed to smell of ammonia way before any other diaper my son used. I switched to Charlie's Soap and that has taken care of that issue.

Well, this is the most reliable diaper I've got in my stash. I'm fairly new to cloth diapering and I just can't believe how well this works and how easy it is! At first I was so shocked that the insert would be soaking wet because the fleece would still be completely dry!

My baby is 6 months old and the single fuzzi bunz insert still holds up overnight, 12 hours!

The diaper is very trim, but I wish it laid a little flatter on the front, although the way the snaps are placed gives us a great fit around the waist AND thigh.

My girl is 14 lbs and I think we'll be able to wear our size small for at least 6 more months. We're still on the smallest setting!

I am only giving a rating of 2 because I like the fit on my son and was having a very hard time finding diapers that fit his chunky thighs. However, diapers that don't function are no good whether they fit or not :(

After only a few washes, the PUL bubbled on 3 of the 5 diapers I bought, and completely seperated on another. That left me with 1 good diaper out of 5. I have sent several emails and recieved no replies. I have made phone calls and left messages and recieved no return phone calls. I am extremely disappointed, and the customer service is seriously lacking. I am now starting to realize I am most likely stuck with 4 diapers that are not usable, and out the money I paid for them.

I do like the new Fuzzi Bunz. The keep the baby dry for 3 or more hours. I can double stuff them for overnight no problem. The snaps are well place so there is no wing droop. The fleece pills a bit, but stays soft. Beware: the sizing is very generous! Works good for my super chubby baby. One of the first I reach for, but I prefer natural fibers next to the baby.

I am updating my rating from a 5 to a 4 for the following reason: I have had repelling issues with these. I did resolve these issues with much work but it was a pain. It was caused by washing them in the same load with cotton diapers that I had used diaper cream with. I resolved the issue finally by scrubbing with dawn dishsoap and holding the fleece right up next to the faucet on both the inside and the outside to get all the residue out of the pores. It was a pain. I dont like the fact that you have to be so careful with these or they leak. I now wash them seperatly form all my other diapers and that seems to help. I still do like these though and my daughter is sensative to wet cotton on her skin for long periods of time so these are my overnight diapers and I do like them I just wish they weren't such a pain to take care of.

We've been using FBs for two years now. Our toddler has been in a size large for a year (he's big), and we see these lasting through toilet training. We have another baby on the way, so we'll get lots of use out of S, M, and L packages that we have.

We have loved these diapers. We've used Charlie's Soap, baking soda (we have hard water) to prevent stains, and the occasional oxi-clean (recommended by FB store). They have fit well and held up well. No stink issue, no repelling. When we got the large, we opted for the slightly more expensive hemp/fleece inserts and really loved those -- they're more absorbant, they're trim, and they don't hold stains like the cotton inserts do. We find them easy to assemble and just overall a great workhorse diaper.

We recently bought some used Bum Genius to have at our inlaws' summer place, and we like our FBs so much better (prefer naps to velcro, which our toddler can remove in a snap, easier to assemble, etc.). Looking forward to diapering another baby in FBs. Good customer service, too. We had a couple that lost their elasticity, and FB replaced them promptly. Otherwise, no complaints. We are big FB fans.

These make a great (expensive) swim diaper, serve in a pinch as a decent one-use diaper cover, and re-sell for close to their original value when you discover that they don't do what they are designed to do.

I am officially not a fan of the pocket diaper, having now tried two separate brands. Any diaper that requires specific detergent, specific steps, and demands absolutely not to be washed in the same water with certain natural fibers, simply does not belong in my stash.

If you've never tried pocket diapers but want to, I highly recommend that you try one before investing in more. Many people adore them, but if you are one of those who does not, you are going to be sorely disappointed--if you make a mistake in laundering, you will end up with diapers that send pee out the sides instead of into the absorbent core. It's called 'repelling,' and the pocket diaper companies actually have customer service reps designated to help you launder the diapers back into useful service. If you've got time for that kind of complication, you'll appreciate their efficient and helpful service. If not, you're going to be incredibly frustrated by these diapers.

Otherwise, stick with cotton, hemp, or bamboo against baby's skin and skip the gimmicks.

I started loving my FBs, but after 9 months of exlusive use, I am starting to change my mind. The waterproof layer has disintegrated on three of them so far and they leaked right through when I squirted water on the fleece without any inserts. I took a close look at the inside and noticed that the laminate layer has lots of ""cracks"". I had to throw those FBs away. Now I have a few which are showing signs of such wear. I wash my FBs very carefully on a gentle cycle with only Charlie's Soap and line them dry, so I am very very disappointed that they have such a SHORT life. Not very worth it, considering they cost so much each.

The Smalls are a little large around her thighs, even though she was almost 10lbs, but even with the little gap, I've not had any leaks or blow outs!

I really like these (I only have the old style). They aren't the fanciest or prettiest diaper out there, but they work. Mine have held up well, the oldest ones the fleece is definitely crunchier and wearing thin, but still functional, I've never had an issue with snaps or tears and all the elastics are still fine. They are a great fit for my skinny legged kids and the size medium lasts from about 4 months until potty learning for us. I would give them a 5, but I wish the fleece were better quality, especially for the price.

These worked great for us when my daughter was a newborn. Up until about a month ago these were our favorite diapers. She was long and thin and we had the fewest leaks with the fuzzis. They fit her the best and were absorbent enough for our needs. She has grown a little chubbier in the last 6 weeks and they are no longer fitting her well. Now, she leaks on the larger settings but gets marks on her legs from smaller settings plus the waist buckles open. I've decided not to buy more in the next size up. We also got tired of the snaps as she began to wiggle around more. Quality has been great, no problems at all.

Fuzzi Bunz diapers are indeed made in the USA, but you are correct- the insert is made in China, as is essentially all microfiber fabric. We would be happy to help you find a US-made insert that you could use in your Fuzzi Bunz. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

I own small, medium and large Fuzzi Bunz and have also tried out Happy Heiny's, Swaddlebees, BumGenious 2.0, Knickerknappies and GAD's. Here is why I like FB the best:

1) Snaps - dont have to mess with putting tabs down before washing and they hold up great.

2) Sizing is more accommadating. My kids seem to have small waists with large thighs. FB works perfect for them!

3) Ease of use - I can dangle the dipe, holding a clean portion, over the pail and the insert falls out without me ever having to touch something dirty.

Here are the hang ups I have had:

1) My son grew out of the smalls at 4 mo and my daughter at 2 months - both were not able to wear till they were 2+ weeks old. Granted my kids were about 13 pounds when they grew out of them and around 8 pounds when born. But I would have like to use them longer. (Both grew out because of the rise and thighs.)

2) BF poopy leaks up the back when 6-9 months old. My son was a frequent pooper and they were forceful poos. I am not sure if this is due to the design or just him.

3) Leaks due to how my son was standing/playing. This I think is due to just being a pocket and the fact he is a heavy-all-at-once-wetter I have learned to always have a high absorbency insert (the insert that comes with is not enough).

4) Now at a year and a half I am having issues with morning poo escaping - but I think it is due to absorbency adjustments I need to make - we shall see.

5) Repelling - as with any fleece diaper I have had to learn how to adjust my wash methods - I have it all figured out now and it is no longer an issue.

I've tried the new style. I just had to try FB because everyone is so crazy about them, but I really don't see it in comparison. Functionality is okay but after he wears it around a little it gets all bunched up around the top. Plus I feel like one snap setting is too loose and then the next too tight. Dh doesn't like putting them on compared to our others (side snaps) either. But mostly I just think it's overpriced for what you get. Yes it comes with the microfiber insert, but I don't think that makes it worth $20--especially when that insert by itself does nothing for us, so it requires something else anyway. I know it's an original, but if a friend was considering cloth diapering for the fist time this wouldn't be my first recommendation.

I have used my FuzzyBunz diapers through two children and will use them again with my third after he is born. I have not had any quality problems or leaking problems with them. I prefer the snaps on FuzzyBunz to diapers with Velcro because as my children got older it was more difficult for them to open the snaps. I like that the pocket allows me to customize the amount of padding inside and that the fleece allows most of the solid waste to fall right off of the diaper and not stick. I have not tried a lot of other brands of pocket/cloth diapers because I have liked these well enough.

I was drawn to this diaper because of the snaps. My daughter is getting to an age where diaper velcro is interesting so I thought these would stay put longer. I had luck with them when using both inserts that are included with the diaper, but that left a lot of bulk in my little sweetie's diaper. I found another brand snap diaper that retails for $6 less with a more absorbant and less bulky hemp liner that I liked more than the FBs in both fit and price!

I've used Fuzzi Bunz since my son was born, and have had various issues with them, such as pilling, wicking (even following all washing instructions and using Allen's detergent), variations in size within the same size diaper...however, until we purchased the ""new"" generation, I would have overall given these diapers a 4 or 5. We had been very happy with them, overall.

However, in January I purchased Larges in the new design for my son, then 14 months old. He was way too big for the mediums. The larges just did not fit him right. The tabs were shorter, so we couldn't get the leg openings tight enough. Also, the quality of these diapers was just poor...I've had to send several back to the manufacturer because the snaps popped out. I will say their customer service department took care of my issues promptly, but it was just frustrating to be having these problems in the first place, especially when we'd used this brand for so long with no issues.

We never could quite get the larges to fit right. The older he got and the more active he became the fit just got worse...they would be okay when first put on him, but as he ran around in them they would start to sag, the leg openings would gape, and his pee would run right down his legs. I called the manufacturer to see if they had any advice, and they said to try a Petite Toddler size. I decided not to because I didn't want to make yet another significant investment in that product, especially considering there were things I didn't like (such as pilling and wicking) from the outset.

These are a good starter diaper if you are new to cloth diapering and a little unsure about it like I was. Also great for baby-sitters, dads and grandmas - easy to put on, and if you can get the fit right, will keep your baby dry. However, if I had it to do over again I would have just bought a couple of these and rounded out my stash with lots of prefolds, covers and maybe one or two other bran

Fuzzi Bunz are really my ""go to"" diaper. I have NEVER had a leak with these, though I do use the microfiber insert it came with and a smaller microfiber that I fold in half and stuff in the front for my heavy wetting son. With no velcro to roll, peel, or catch on other diapers...I find that they wash great and keep looking new wash after wash! The snaps allow for a custom fit around my toddler's skinny waist and chubby thighs. I have the old-style and if my son wasn't on the verge of potty training, I would invest my money in more of these.

Sizing: My baby has very chunky thighs and I don't know how much longer the medium size will work. She is 18 lbs and we are already on the last snap on the thighs.

Ease of use: My husband can and will use these diapers. He hasn't braved the prefolds yet, but seems to like these.

Love my fuzzi's! Take them everywhere day and night. Prefer them to velcro. The older style does stretch out a bit, but I dislike the wings on the newer style..seems like something is missing..don't seem to snap as easily. The older style was much cuter. Both work well day and night. My heavy wetter needs a hempy insert. These are by far my most favorite diaper! The price has risen to $20. so it might make it less affordable for some. However, at least they are all U.S. made now and not in china as they were. Get as many as you can afford to have..look for sites where they offer discounts for buying more. Not a huge fan of this diaper. I guess functionally it might be okay if you can get it to fit your kid, but it didn't fit my daughter well AT ALL. The fleece seemed to pill really quickly, which I thought was normal until I tried another brand that stayed super-soft after I washed it. Also, the PUL separated, even though I followed the washing instructions. The diaper still worked, it just was annoying. This diaper just isn't worth the money, in my opinion.

In contrast to a lot of what I have read, I think the quality of the fleece is fine. It's better than the Happy Heiny fleece, in my experience. I only wash my pockets in mesh bags because I'm paranoid that way, and the fleece is wearing well.
