I love my Moby and so does my ds! He was born at the start of cold & flu season (including H1N1), so I thought I'd be confined to the house until Spring. Moby Wrap to the rescue! I just pop him in the wrap and out we go to the grocery store and oh-so-germy Wal-Mart...folks would look at his little head, but never tried to touch him since he was so close to me. PLUS he stayed warm and cozy, and he slept thru most shopping trips.

Yes, there is a learning curve to putting it on correctly, but it's not that hard. I would say it's not the quickest or easiest option as far as carriers go--but it's definitely the most comfortable and versatile, and one that will grow with baby (and shrink with mom as she loses the baby weight). HINT: Dress baby accordingly when going out in the Moby. Just because it's chilly outside doesn't mean baby won't be toasty warm under the layers of fabric in the Moby and next to your body. Also, put the Moby on BEFORE you leave the house. Yes you'll look like a Star Wars character, but only until you put the baby in the carrier. It saves time and keeps the fabric off the ground that way.

Our son was 4lbs when we brought him home, he was born 8 weeks early. He was really cramping my active husband's style and I bought them the moby with the restriction that he can't use power tools with the baby on. The baby loves to be in it and now that he is older we can have him facing out. My husband loves it because he can hike, do chores, etc with the baby on and it is truley hands free. You can lean forward in this and don't have to worry about the baby coming out. At $40 for a new one it's a no brainer. If you have trouble tying it, go to You tube, there are tons of videos to help.

I love my moby wrap. I also have a Baby Bjorn carrier, as well as a Beco Butterfly. I always prefer to use the moby wrap over the others (but I would also rate the beco as a 5 too). My babies feel very secure and comfortable rear and forward facing. I was intimidated at first because it does appear as if it could be complicated to use, but after using it just 2-3 times I realized it really is easy. I have twins and never liked wearing them in my moby at the same time, but being able to wear one of them sure does make life easier. It washes well and is easy to travel with. I just roll it up, stuff it in the carry bag it came with, and put it with everything else in my big diaper bag. I do want to note that my husband won't use it, he thinks it is too girly. If you're looking to buy just one carrier to share with your dh you probably will both be happier sharing something a little more masculine in appearance.

Great product. Worth every penny. A sanity saver for a first time mom with fussy baby. DD had reflux & kept crying after her feedings. But with the moby wrap, not only did she feel secure as I held her,but she was kept in an upright position with GREATLY help with the reflux. It also feels like you a get a second set of hands ! You wan eat, drink, or read.Highly recommended.

I tried this on in the store and LOVED it. The fit is great and I can carry our daughter for hours without being sore. The ONLY reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it is really a pain to try to get on while standing in a parking lot. The long fabric gets FILTHY from hanging on the ground while I try to get it on....There are times I wish I had a buckle carrier that was a bit simpler.

My daughter and I both love our Moby! We used it daily from the time she was about 2 weeks old until she was about 12 months old and wanting to walk more often than not - we still occasionally use it, but she is walking more than a mile a day now, and so we don't get to carry her much! I only found it took two tries to become adept at wrapping it, and if I was going to drive somewhere (grocery store, etc) I would just put it on at home and pop her in it when we got there to avoid having to put it on in the parking lot - as the tails do tend to drag the ground since there is a good bit of fabric there!

It has been our very favorite sling (and we have tried a good number of them!) - Simple to use, affordable, and excellent weight distribution. I have given Mobys to several friends who had decided against babywearing due to uncomfortable carriers and/or back problems, and they had great success with them too!

This is one of my favorite carriers because it's so easy on my back and my baby loves it. It's also my sister's favorite, too, and she mainly uses it to put her baby to sleep. I can't do that because my baby has eczema and if I place him facing me, he'll just be rubbing his face all over my chest. So, I put it so my baby is facing out. In the winter, I wear a large coat and zip it up up to my baby's neck. So, it looks like I have two heads stacked on top of each other. I swear EVERYONE stares and adores my baby when I walk around like that. My baby loves it too cuz he gets to experience the world like his mommy. I have another wrap like this one, but I realize that this is much better because of the fabric - not to stretchy, not too stiff, just perfect. The only tricky thing about this carrier is that it's hard to put it on in parking lot or any place with dirty floors cuz the ends of the wrap may drag on the ground when you try to put it on, so I just put it on at home and then go out to grocery store or wherever.

I love my Moby Wrap! My 9 month old son will not sleep in any other carrier, but this one. It does take a little bit of learning, but it is definitely worth it!! It's soft with a little stretch and is very comfy for me. I like that it distributes his weight over both shoulders. I HIGHLY recommend this carrier to all mamas even if you don't have a newborn. I read some reviews that it stretches out and sags, but I have not had that experience at all. This is a must have!

The Moby Wrap was a perfect solution for my colicky baby. We used it daily. I don't use it as much now just because I bought a Beco and find that easier to take on and off while on the go. The Moby was perfect for when he was little though. I felt like he was secure, his head was stable when it was tucked in and he quieted down as soon as I put him in it.

My son and I love this carrier! He is a really tall baby, and I'm a short petite mom- so a lot of front carriers are difficult for us to use because his head is in front of my face. Not with the Moby! Works great because he can sit a little bit lower. Also, there aren't a lot of front carriers out there that let you put a toddler facing outward or facing you- but you can with the Moby. I like it best when for times when he'll be riding for a while since its not quite as easy to get him in and out as our Kangaroo Corner carrier, its also comfy enough for me to wear him for hours (he's about 24 lbs at the moment).

I love the Moby Wrap so much for newborn babywearing up to around the time they get mobile. It is the most comfortable carrier I have ever owned and made having 3 children MUCH easier because I had my hands free to tend to all of them. I'm looking forward to wearing #4 in my Moby soon and recommend them to any mother looking for an affordable, versatile baby carrier.

This is the only baby carrier I use. I am able to do everything with the baby in this wrap - and if he is fussy, he falls asleep within minutes of being put in here. When he's awake he loves to face forward and watch everything I'm doing (he's 8 weeks old). I actually made two of these out of cotton jersey ($25 is what the fabric cost me for two), but if you can't sew or don't have the time, the Moby is worth buying retail.

Love my Moby. I use it mostly for times when she will be in and out of the carrier a lot or when we are going for a long walk. I use a LFN pouch for shopping and quick trips because it is easier to put on and less bulky. For longer trips, love the Moby. So easy to use, and so comfy. I like that Eva can face out so easily, yet I can still nurse her without re-wrapping the Moby. My little one is tiny and wants to face out a lot, the Moby lets her do that without stretching her legs too much like my mei tai does. I sell Moby Wraps and customers love them too.

The owner took it out of the package and had me try it on. We were looking for a two shoulder carrier to use to carry our then newborn. The hotsling was killing my shoulder. lol From the moment she took it out of the package and put it on me.. it felt so soft. We then put the baby in it and he absolutely LOVED it! I will tell you that I used that EVERY single day for a year. {Until he only wanted to walk/run/play}. These can go in the washer & dryer without fear of shrinkage too. Another great thing about it. I had a baby with reflux who threw up all of the time so we needed to be able to wash it often. I recently had a new baby and bought a new Moby as I love them so much! We have the one I am writing the review on and a brand new one! These are a MUST for new moms and/or babies that need to be carried!

I have the Moby D and absolutely love it. It allows a lot of different carrying positions and keeps your hands free so you can get some work done. I decided to get the Moby D since I read that it holds heavier babies better than the Moby. It's also beautiful too..I got the black silk one. I wish I had gotten this earlier...from when DD was bon since I could've gotten a lot of use since day 1. I highly recommend it.

Love this wrap for the first months, specially because it is so soft, can put on before baby and then baby can snuggle inside of the wrap. Very comfortable.

Went through most carriers, snugli, ring sling, pouch,
this one is great.
Little bit of a learning curve but well worth it.

I have used a Bjorn and a Hotsling with #1 and #2 and I was just getting ready to ask my husband to buy me this for my birthday to use with #3 when a girlfriend offered it up! Yay! She didn't have the instructions but with one YouTube video, I was able to get it down fast. I found very easy to manipulate and very secure on my 19 lb ten month old, I even triend my 32 lb 3 yo in it too! I haven't triend the back hold yet but I will for sure! The only reason I did't give a 5 is for the stretching. The comfort is awesome, there is NO strain! But the stretching, I could do without. After a while, I have to take baby out and completely re-wrap. But, I would do this any day rather than have a sor back and shoulder from my old carriers!

The Moby Wrap was amazing for both myself and my son. He was quite tiny when he was born and therefore benefited from being close to my heartbeat. Lisa showed me how to use the moby and I was able to use it right away with no problems. It was nice not to have all my after baby body showing, as it covers really well and nothing digs in to show rolls.

I absolutely love this wrap, I recommend it to everyone and EVERYONE who sees my little boy in it says, ""I can tell that's his spot"" and ""wow, he loves that thing!"". I've been wearing him in this since he was born, so about 7lbs to now - 20lbs - and its still comfy. I use the stroller more these days of course but frequently throw this on for a quick dash to the corner or to calm him in the house or backyard, or whatever. It's so easy to put him to sleep in this or wear him around the grocery store or in the house or whatever and now that he's bigger we do the hip and back holds too, both of which he seems to like and which can be more convenient depending on what you're doing. This was one of three slings/carriers that we got at the beginning and we just couldn't get going with the others as he never seemed comfortable. So we got another Moby! My husband loves wearing him from time to time as well, particularly facing outwards like a little mini-me, its hilarious and the baby loves it.

This carrier is great!!! For my first son, I used a baby bjorn and hated it as he got older, so I just stopped using it and never used it with my other children. I found the Moby Wrap at Target and decided to give the baby wearing a try again after a few years. I just wish I had something like this sooner so I could have worn all my babies.
The only reason why I gave it a 4 was because there is definitely a learning curve to it, but after a few tries, it was easy. Also, my daughter is 14 months and she doesn't want to stay for too long in it now since she started to learn to walk, so I haven't gotten much use out of it.

I love this wrap! There is a learning curve at first, it took me about 5 or 6 times to really get it comfortably. It is so comfortable though! I bought it as a ""back up"" sling when I was waiting for mine to arrive and needed one for a plane trip. I still like to use it with my toddler though when I know we will be out for a while as it offers great back support. The back and hip hold are great for larger babies and toddlers although I will still wear my 14 month old forward facing sometimes as well. I highly recommend this wrap to anyone!

I love my Moby... I'm sad that my son is getting too big to carry in it. This carrier is absolutely wonderful for very young babies. It keeps them all snuggled close to you which is where they want and need to be. I liked how easy it was to use. Just a couple of criss crossing and you are ready to go. I also liked that I could leave it on as I drove from one place to another. It just made it so easy to put him in and go. One more thing that I loved about it compared to other carriers is that when his head was all floppy I could tuck it in the shoulder strap. If I needed to lean forward to pick something from the floor I could without worrying about his head flopping back. I purchased mine from Ann-Marie at Cozy Baby Boutique. She has excellent customer service and taught me how to wrap the MOby around me.

I love the Moby Wrap for the newborn and younger baby. I used mine as a front carrier from the birth of my son up until he was about 9 months old and weighed about 25 pounds. My son LIVED in the Moby because he was VERY shy of strangers for the first year of life. He absolutely loved it and it was the best way to get him to nap. Also I was able to go anywhere with him along and still feeling secure. The Moby may look complicated but it is really easy to learn the wrap and the best part is that you can take the baby in and out numerous times without re-wrapping every time. It doesn't take up much spece to carry with you and it is very comfortable. It also is secure and supportive enough for the baby that the mom is truly hands-free. I am pregnant again now and I can't imagine trying to deal with an infant again without using my Moby wrap.

I bought this wrap for my 16 month old (at the time) because she was WAY too heavy to wear in my Over the Shoulder Baby Holder sling anymore. The Moby has so many different ways to wear. My girl loves to be worn on my back or on my hip. The first couple times she wasn't too sure about it, but now it is the only way we shop. I can wait to have another baby to wear a little one! It really distributes the weight well, I'm never sore after wearing it. I was concerned about the fabric being to stretchy too, but after an initial adjustment stretching out period, it doesn't seem to be stretching anymore.

I bought this wrap after I saw a salesperson leading a demonstration on the Moby for family with a 3-week old baby. I was going to use a sling, but due to my back issues, I thought it best to use the 5-point support that the Moby offers. In terms of mom comfort, the Moby rocks. I have had no issues with pain whilst wearing this. However, it's a bit of a pain to put on - it's not confusing/difficult, it's just time consuming. Some people nurse in their Mobys, but due to back issues, I've had to nurse in a side-lying position, thus have to take the Moby off and put it back on whenever my DD is hungry. My DD also gets way too hot in the Moby and doesn't sleep as well as she does in her Baby Bjorn active (which I do NOT like due to the back pain it causes - we're getting an Ergo soon). I'm hanging on to this carrier because it's so easy to pack for trips and it's comfortable. I'm interested to see how she will take to the other holds, as I've really only used the infant hold and the cradle hold as my DD is only 12 wks.
